quite expensive for styluses
#3
Oh I so have to get this!
#4
£2.33 per stylus is steep. DX has packs of normal stylus for about £2. Looks cool but way too expensive.

Easily misplaced or lost.
#11
How cool are they?!?! But will they slot into the DS? I'd lose them if they didn't :-(
#12
Want!!!
#13
I know there a bit sad really... but goddamn I love 'em!:-D

Gotta integrate inside a ds or theres not much point in them being made surely.

Being officially licenced I would think they would fit, but looking at them I somehow doubt they will...
#14
might get a DS for these alone XD
#15
Idc about whether it fits or not. This is for collection purposes only. :P
#16
It's a little bit geeky to want these.
It's quite geeky to actually buy them.
But it's unmeasurably geeky to pre-order them.

That's not a criticism of geekiness. I myself admit to enjoying binary code.

Merely an observation, and perhaps warning.
#17
What's funny is that unlike people in Japan who embrace their gadgets openly, were all pretty self conscious about pulling out a ds on a bus or train, let alone having a mini replica lightsaber as our ds's stylus...
#18
Outstanding find!

have pre-ordered!

Add to that they probably cost about 5p to make and then charging everyone £7 to order.

If they improved my DS skills, I'd be interested.:-D

Just found these on Play. These one's actually light up:

Actually, it's quite geeky in Japan, too. It's just that a) there's a lot more people who fit the stereotype and b) they beat us to the punch on geek chic.

In Japan being a geek is a bit like being a goth in the UK - you may be in a minority, but it's a large one. The style changes over time but there's always a strong subculture.

For that, you will need the force.

Pretty snazzy! Do they fit in the little slots the DS Lite currently has for stylus...styluses...styli? Gah, typing "styluses" feels so unnatural!

leetXcore at 03:09 AM on 07/02/08 Reply by Email *

YES.

And then this one on reghardware.co.uk!

You can buy either a pack of three red, blue and green lightsabers, or a pack of two slightly larger red and green lightsabers. Each stylus has its own unique handle design, but the coolest thing about the larger stylus pack is that each one lights up.

"It’s worth noting that none of the styli can be slotted into the handheld console’s stylus slot."

And excite.co.uk!

Unfortunately the lightsabre stylus cannot be stored in the DS's stylus slot but the price is not out of this world. The pack three costs £4 while the larger pack of two retails at £8.
