Not sure how long this one lasts, but collect at store for cheapest price on the net for a DSi in 5 different colours. They even have the metallic blue available on this deal.

Quidco 3% = £2.70 making this £87.29

Site does seem very busy right now and these seem to be flying out very fast. No idea how much stock they have across the country, but guessing it's not bottomless.

Will wait till New Year, should be even cheaper when the new model comes out ;-)

I wonder why they didn't have it ready for xmas 2010? Seems like they missed a trick esp. with the new ipod touch already out and on alot of xmas shopping lists.

Heat added good price. Black still available from stores in Mansfield and Giltbrook (Nottingham)

People always say this(Dsi, DS lite, DS), and I always tell them to show me any basis to support thier claim.

Good price for the DSi...but as others have said, if you want a device with any longevity then save your money for the 3DS.

3DS isn't a minor upgrade ..it's a whole new platform...so expect software support for the DS/DSi to dry up fairly quickly when 3DS hits the market.

Does that mean people will need to pay for games? 8)

LOLOLOL!!! you CANNOT be serious. Do you have any idea how huge the installed user base is for DS/DSi's? unless you think that the 3DS is a free upgrade for DSi owners, support isn't drying up any time soon.

I resevered one to collect in Widnes. A bit later on I got Gamestation in St Helens to pricematch. St Helens should have them in as that is where they called to check. I've got a reservation number for the black one in Widnes if anyone needs it?

I read somewhere that updates will be forced either through wifi or through regular games. However, that didn't stop the PSP hacking scene.

I hope there isn't an R4 or softmod/hardmod equivalent as that will kill development for further games.

You could argue that the DS./DSi has plenty of time left though due to the thousands of games in its back catalogue, where as it will be a year or so for the 3DS to have a reasonable amount of games. I think we are safe for at least 12 months with the DSi, especially as my kids will have dropped it, burnt it, lost it, scratched it by next christmas anyway...

I once read that piracy raises the price of software. . So if all the new devices can't be hacked or play copied games I bet my years salary that the price never goes below the rrp we pay today they make so much money on software even with piracy its incredible

Went to get my black nintendo dsi today was offered for £20 more a nintendo accessory pack and sonic game age 3+ - but they didnt have the game in stock.

was waiting ages and saw at the till was a leaflet/card to sign up for comet perks and get £5 off a £50 spend, so while he checked stock availabilty, signed up and showed them the email confirmation on my phone

I ordered this over the phone to be delivered on Thursday. I was panicking that they'd sell out and the website crashed on me at the pay stage. I wonder if it will turn up (they aren't showing any deliveries on Thursday). It'll be great if I can get this!
