Good god noooooooooooooooooooooooooo Just how much will I have to undercut to sell mine now? I might as well bloody keep it even though there's no decent games to play anymore.

^^ Puzzle Quest 2 is a great game

Good deal. But your kid looses their DS, so you just buy them a new one!!! What sort of lesson is that teaching them?

Why not just keep the money and save up for a 3DS next year

Nintendo said it would be out till at least March 2011 so we still have awhile yet.

Wonder if they've reduced the XL too

No, they said it was coming out in the fiscal year ending in March 2011. May sites have it listed as coming out in November so as to hit the holiday season

That was in regards to the US. There's still a slim chance we could get it in Europe in 2010.

They'd usually launch in the US prior to Europe..but we actually got the DSi XL almost a month before the US.

..and due to the amount of pirating scum who have destroyed DS software sales in Europe..they may think it's worthwhile launching the 3DS here first (If it has strong anti-piracy measures in place) to boost software sales in the region.

The US doesn't really need the 3DS this year as their Wii line-up is very US friendly (Goldeneye, Donkey Kong Country Returns,Epic Mickey), DS sales are still very high..and they don't have close to the same piracy problems as Europe due to tougher laws.

Would be nice if we did but Nintendo always prioritized Japan higher than Europe or the US when it came to console releases. And it still stands at the moment as TBA 2011 in all regions, as there is no rush to get it out the door due to lack of competition(even from Apple) so they have plenty of time to improve the 3D if the technology advances within the next 9 - 12 months.
