The evolution of the Nintendo DS system continues with Nintendo DSi. The Touch Screen technology, Wi-Fi functionality and voice recognition capabilities of the Nintendo DS and DS Lite remain, with exciting new additions to expand the experience.
Two cameras, downloadable Nintendo DSiWare and the ability to play your favourite music via SD cards make it easy to apply your own personal touch to your Nintendo DSi, no matter where you are. And with larger screens, built-in internet browsing capabilities and an even slimmer design, the Nintendo DSi redefines gaming on the go.

I do agree with your comment - its totally wrong for Littlewoods to allow discounts in the first place and then recouping several months later. However, I must say that I never had any problems with Littlwoods in spite of getting massive discounts using vouchers. As long as one doesnt abuse the vouchers, it should be fine IMO. :)

I never had a problem with tiny woods use voucher codes all the time touch wood. This is still a good price even without codes.

Could you elaborate? I've been looking to buy one of these and £129 seems a good price. What risks are there from buying from this company, without using vouchers) ?.

Best price I've seen & I have never had a bad Littlewoods experience!

The risks? let me see
they take all the money as you order, and if you are lucky and they actually have stock and decide its not a misprice, you get your order
then if you used a voucher they decide not to honour it

However. as they take your money right away, then when they decide they dont want to bother selling it to you, they just keep the money and make you call them and mess you around on the phone, make you pay 5p per minute, keep you hanging for ages, tell you someone will call you back, and you might near 2 weeks later get a refund, and then it might be missing 3.95 for a delivery you didnt have

Most of your gripes seem to be related to the use of vouchers, most of which you weren't supposed to use in the first place (you've got them off internet sites like these). They are doing to you what you did in the first place to them.

As for them suddenly not having them in stock, this isn't a reason to justify voting a deal cold. In the past year i've had issues with Amazon, Zavvi, Play, Argos and the Hut all suddenly not having things in stock or realising they are mis-priced. Just because with these sites they happen less frequently doesn't mean they shouldn't be judged by the same standards as shop direct. If everyone was to vote cold based upon someones bad experience then there would be only a few hot deals on here. Claiming back the cost of phone calls is also an option. I have done so with quite a few companies, although i will say there is sopmething rather shameful in cashing a cheque for £1.50.

Thanks for finding the John Lewis deal. I guess it negates all of the discussion above. You should have stated it in your original post instead of being so arrogant.

First of all, I didnt use any voucher not issued to me whatsoever
secondly, what I was most incensed about wasnt the lack of stock, moreso the taking of payment they didnt deserve,
thirdly, as i spent part of the week just to trying claim the 3.95 postage they owed me, I dont expect much luck with phone costs, so I used chargeback against them instead

Thanks for the arrogant compliment :whistling:

I wouldn't buy from this firm or any of their sister companies until they've shown an improvement in CS. Still waiting for refund for cancelled orders from 17th January
