good price...in reading but going past there Friday so may pop in but suspected they will all be sold by the time i get there!
#2
No doubt ....limited availability, while stocks last etc.

*yawn* another eye catching offer for a store opening with a gnat's chance in a thunderstorm of anyone buying before it all runs out!

Rufus.
#3
Maybe the John Lewis Southampton store will price match this if they have it in stock.
#4
My advice is don't buy a DS until the 3DS comes out 3D will be brilliant on the DS

You really are a complete dullard. Yes there will be limited stock by the virtue that a store cannot be limitless in size. They will have probably a few hundred of these in stock and for those who want to go down, queue for an hour and get one for nearly 50% off then fair play to them.

So why don't you toddle on off to another thread and slate another company and their offers just because you cannot be bothered to put a little bit of effort in.

I'm holding out for the full virtual reality VRDS which should be in the shops before 2020.

Seconded. I bought one of the deal offers at the Thurrock store on the third day after opening (A logitech squeezebox boom) which had a similar discount. Only some of the the TVs had sold out by that point, most of the opening offers were still there and there were some fab deals to be had.

How do you know about this price? Is there somewhere I can look at what they are selling and for how much?

I see they have an e-Brochure for the Thurrock store... is there one for soton?

How exactly will it be brilliant.

If you are going from what you expect it to be like then don't since apparently it is nothing like the hype by all accounts.

And with that there is rumours that the follow up to the DS will be announced this autumn, so would it even be worth getting the 3DS.

The DS is near the end of its shelf life now, if anyone wants one then they may as well go for this or a DS Lite.
#15
There is also a Best Buy opening very soon (if it isn't already opened) in Merry Hill, Dudley.

That will be my local store! :)

Well said.I got the very last 50 inch LG and didn't queue after arriving on the Fridat around 9.15am.They had loads of the special 32 inches aswell and other things. The idiot obviously hasn't got a clue:/:roll:

Come on England win the World Cup and i get my £500 back:)
#24
At least ebay peeps wont be after this deal - only sells for 130 on there so wont make profit.

I don't see the reason why anyone should wait. It might cost more than the DSI XL itself since the price of all bloody ds increase with every new model.
#26
There's a currys megastore just round the corner, don't they price match + 10% off?

They usually like some kind of proof though.

No you didnt lol.
I got the last one.

I might just hold out for the XL3DDSiLite.

There will be issues with making it XL and Lite, although they did once show a computer the size of an a4 piece of paper once on tomorrows world.

It then turns 3D when you make origami out of it, or screw it up when your own ghost beats you on mario kart.

The only down side to this is that an R4 card won't fit into it.

What the hell peeps, this is a freaking steal! £99 for DSi XL, bargain. The only people doubting this are the ones who can't get to a bestbuy.

And whoever said you wont make a profit by selling it on ebay for £130...you will.
130 - 99 = 31.

Taking off postage and ebay charges...even if this was £20 in total, you would make a sound £11 out of it.
Bugatti don't even get that when they sell their cars!!
#33
I never even knew one had opened up Merry Hill (Dudley) until I was driving round there a couple of weeks ago! Saw no opening deals posted here or in the local press??? Odd.

This is not exactly true because I went down there and asked about stock on the btter deals like the Logitech remote and Semsung LED tv. They didnt have anything of anything worth getting.

The only thing I can copmare this deal too if Lakeside had Wii's for £99. None in stock when I arrived. Get deal if you can get it but I would hardly bother. Will be madness. I wasted too much of my time at Best Buy and got nothing out of it.

Someone bought back their voucher and i got that:roll:
I know i was last as scores of people came up asking the person with the balloons and they were saying i got the last one...and i was the last to get served at the till:whistling:

Although there will probably be a new iteration of the 3DS at some point, don't forget that the 3DS is actually a new system, rather than just some reshelled hardware that plays the same games. Also, the 3DS is confirmed to be backwards compatible, and is rumored to have a screen size that is only .25 inch smaller than the DSi XL. Because of that, I know I'm going to wait until the 3DS is released and get myself a really new system, rather than just re-buying a system that I can already play games for.
#39
I got a DS yesterday for £15.00, with a memory card full of around 30+ games, complete with charger and case.... unfortunately I dont have a receipt as I bought it off a kid in the street and it he promised me he hadn't stolen it... :whistling:
