After unwrapping my Xmas present, my other half had bought me a Mini NES console.

Seen lots of reports of the short cable that comes with it but noticed there are extension cables.

Picked up this one for £4.85 on Prime. Looks the cheapest and high ranked. Should be here Wednesday

Hope this helps anyone else luckily to get the console at Christmas!!

If you're in a hurry then obviously it's better to go with that Amazon seller but at the same time it's a bit smaller too. You need to mention how many metres the cable has.

To be fair it's not a must to have a longer cable, it's a luxury. So to save money to wait a few more weeks is what this site is about. Either sit closer to the TV for a bit or put the mini NES a bit closer to you whilst waiting. Either way it's a good idea to have the extended cable.

Why would you want a longer cable for it? Nintendo is recreating the Retro feel by making you sit so close to the TV that your eyes go weird :D

The original NES had longer cables than the new Mini ;)

TV's used to be smaller, so the long cable balanced it somewhat. Now TV's are huge you'll need to be closer so shorter cables. At least that's the logic I see :P

Either way Nintendo loves messing with your eyesight :D

Apparently there is an issue with this extension cable as it makes it hard to have two controllers plugged in as it has a large plastic head at the end of the cable. I have pasted below a link to another cable which apparently doesn't suffer this issue and is only a few pennies more.
