Aye, I pressed submit half way through on the app by accident so I didn't add in what makes this so amazing first time. It made me laugh so I thought I would share.

I mean you can probably get at least £140 for all those devices anyway.

Edit: On reading your comment, I guess you agree, it's a poor deal. xD

Hmmm, might be worth it if you can pick up a scruffy looking trade in one from ebay.

They'll give you less for it then. The trade in price they talk about will expect the console to in pristine condition

Yep. They often look for reasons to mark it down too.

£140 trade in on a second hand 3 year old Xbone isn't that bad is it?
#8
Total con. Would accept nothing less from game tho. Hugely misleading title too as suggests it is just £140 no trade in.

Irony is least with xbox one and ps4 youd be trading more powerful systems with a great games library for a less powerful system which will have at best a handful of games at launch...

Well I just sold one for £100, so personally I'd say no.

Heat added man, thanks for posting :)

Anyone got as link? I'm guessing they want more than just the console. Usually they want a bunch of games too

There isn't any more info from what I can see. It's on the Game app. Any links on there just take you to the listing pages for the Switch.

I sold my xbox one for £110 not long ago so this is a better deal for this wanting to shift the 3 year old xbox one model!
#15
Considering scalebound has been cancelled there is little reason for xbox one for anymore.
If it's just the console I may go for It.
#16
I have a PS4 pro now so my launch PS4 is gathering dust.
Seems ok £140 credit for launch model.
Cex are giving £136 credit for it so you can get £137 game credit now without this deal.

Yea, my bad on the title.

It will be interesting to see the full T&Cs as to what is actually accepted.
#20
I'll give them my PS2 and XBOX for 50% off and they will like it!

Seen this on the app and there are * but no info as to what the * refers too.

Really wouldn't surprise me if they would only accept the new PS4 Slims or XB1S as part of this deal.

The same thing that happens to all rumours once the truth has come out.

Same thing that happened to the rumour that the Switch wasn't going to be a piece of crap. The Gamecube was the last decent Nintendo console. More gimmicks and no decent games again, not even Mario at launch. I remember begging, stealing and borrowing to get a SNES with SF2, I can't imagine teenagers doing the same over this.

Can't believe the rrp on this is higher than the xbox one s and ps4 slim.

One word: Nintendo, the Apple of videogame consoles where value is a foreign word to them.

At £199 they had a chance of recapturing the casual and budget audiences like they did so well with the Wii and the two systems in one idea would have only boosted the perceived value but at £280 they have blown it and it's a very poor deal for the UK considering the US price is $299. No doubt Nintendo would blame Brexit like every other big company, I say it's greed instead.....

Initially we didn't know it had to be and XB1 S as it didn't say on the app.

Xbox has no games.

Daftest comment ever, with the backwards compatibility included it probably has one of the biggest console game libraries ever already and only getting bigger....

I can still get £140 cash towards my switch pre-order for my white PS4 from CEX with additional controller so all is not lost :)
