Cheapest price for the Joy-Con Wheel Pair accessories for the nations most exciting and eagerly anticipated console. PRE-ORDER. Question mark on release date at moment, The Hut say 3rd March, Amazon who charge £13.99 (PRIME only) for this item say 28 April.

Free delivery with The Hut when you spend over £30 which makes the item £12.99. Free delivery with Amazon when you spend over £20. Zavvi sell the item for £13.99 delivered (credit to Buzzduraband for that).

Good fun option for 2-player Mario Kart Deluxe on the TV certainly and other racing-type games that will follow on the desirable non-mainstream console that is the talk of the gaming industry at the moment.

This is an official Nintendo product.

Cashback available for The Hut with Quidco.

Thanks for sharing, have added the P&P cost. Unfortunately anything under £30 with the Hut is now £1.99 delivery.

I think not in this case though? When you add it to basket it says delivery is £0.00 possibly as a pre-order item.

Spasho who attended the Switch Premier event and tried out the Joy-Cons said in another thread he felt they were small and it appeared they may have been made more for the Japanese, who typically have smaller hands. Small controllers is not necessarily a bad thing? RIP Spasho mate, we miss you!

I did double check i'm afraid. When you sign in and go to checkout it adds it on. Sorry

Got banned I believe. Would like to know what for as we frequented the same parts of HUKD and I enjoyed his contributions.

That sucks then TBH. Have expired as not a great deal unless your spending +£30 anyway. Thanks.

Just Game Over for him in terms of HUKD contributing as he got suspended for getting into one to many spats with the mainstream gaming mischief makers on the Switch threads recently. Bit of a travesty as he offered a lot to the HUKD Nintendo community. Would be nice if a MOD could look into this and give him another chance to come back :)

Ditto, a lot of us feel the same. He deserves a 2nd chance, some HUKD'rs are on the 22nd chance I think :)

On the subject of the Wheels themselves, given Mario Kart is the only game currently compatible with these (or better to say 'remotely useful') then they seem very expensive - and make MK8 closer to £60 in price than £40.

If the joycon is small the wheel will be small, look at the picture. Nothing to do with the japanese market and their tiny asian hands (2017 and still stereotyping!)
#12
They will probably come out the same time as MK not on release day.

£15 for a piece of plastic that holds a controller? Just wait for launch and get a chinese knock off one for £2 off ebay

I found using the wheels to be fun in Mario Kart 8 (Wii U). They were a good leveller when playing against kids as they take a lot of getting used to and make it more challenging. Then the kids soon get better than you anyway and your back to normal controllers to try and keep up. Do feel wheels are fun, but could not argue you get a finer control with the normal controllers.

In terms of not understanding the P&P price. Which I fully get. It's probably now best to point out they're £13.99 delivered from Zavvi and (as you have already mentioned) Amazon if you have Prime.

Yes but if the Joy Con is indeed small (unknown?) because of the Japanese market and smaller hands, and the although the Wheel will be small only because it's size is relative to the Joy Con, it is none the less having a size directly dictated by the Japanese market if as if there was no small Joy Con for the Japanese market, there would be no small Wheel. I am not convinced it is about the Japanese market. I do think some game controllers are ridiculously big. I am 6ft tall to give you an idea of my size and I can live with small controllers. The Joy Con's remind me of the Vetrex controllers, and I happened to really like them, ancient and 1980's as they are.

Good info Buzz. [EDIT: updated description with it]. Seeing you are here now, re the ex-user mentioned on this thread being banned, any chance of giving him a 2nd chance? :)

:D Dunno why you're asking me mate. I don't make the rules (or follow them). There's a Mod present in the thread, it might be best to start there. But I reckon your best bet would be to make an enquiry via the Contact Us method as it is account related, and I'm sure it would be out of a moderators hands, let alone a "Deal Editor".

Think Amazon are selling them on the 28th April because that is the day Mario kart 8 deluxe launches. Still heat for the availability.
