That was a software update released 48 hours after Switch Launch - Just had to re-sync controllers after update.

Hardware issue that still stands on mine if I actually try to use the joycon grip. Fortunately I have a pro controller for TV play, so not been a massive issue

Yes its the amount of hardware in the left Joycon blocking the signal.

What I mean't is they improved the connectivity issue within 48 hours with a Firmware update.
