Shame you have to wait till end of April for the console as well.

Still undecided on buying one of these not sure why it has been voted cold as in terms of price is best for value just now. Regardless of how people feel about the price of the switch at the moment. Shame about the delay otherwise I was tempted to go for the Zelda and switch.

I'm getting alot more off.

Looking at the botw bundle ATM and it's 267 and change saving £66, that bundle is £10 than ops.

Edit; thanks kraezae , I don't usually like posts that are just codes+ a random product but if it goes through BOTW bundle for £267 is great.

Think he's probably just presumed its 20% off and not 10% on electrical. There's no way of trying the code unless you enter all your personal details first.

I just bought the Nintendo Switch Neon (no game) and it was £223. So definitely 20% off.

did you do it over the phone or on the internet? I am tempted to phone to double check as Very are notorious for changing the discount at a later date, especially as its on a credit account. Don't they charge the full amount and then refund the difference back to the account?

I didn't know that very are notorious for doing that, that would be very sly. I guess I'll have to keep track of things.

However I can confirm that I ordered online, and the amount was taken off as I applied the code, rather than being charged the full amount with an expectation of getting x back. So I feel relatively confident that they wouldn't be allowed to change how much they charged me at this stage. Worst worst case scenario though, they change it to 10% in which case its still a good deal.

I ordered yesterday with Zelda and also went through as 20% off. Seems there is a lot of hate on these boards for Very so will see if I get it delivered at that price but currently due for the end of March

Weirdly mine is due at the end of April. I wonder if it's just whenever they get them in.

This changed today for some reason. Yesterday delivery was by 31st March, now it's 28th April.
Their customer services said it would be dispatched whenever they got them, so I guess it's just about biding time. For the price difference I am happy to wait a bit tbh

Code has expired? Not working for me?
#23
Well the code worked for me last night as a new customer but only after ordering did I find that the delivery date is 28th April, too long to wait! as it turns out when I asked to cancel they told me the order had been declined anyway. The only emails I got were for opening the account meanwhile the order says processing on my accounts page. Not sure I like the way Very deal with customers and ordering, it all seems purposefully convoluted. Wont be bothering but good luck to everyone else :-)

the 28th of April is a placeholder date, much like the end of March was a few days ago. Nintendo hasn't told retailers when the next shipment will be. Realistically it could be delivered any time, it could be in the next couple of weeks, it could be May! Ordering now is just a case of getting in the queue.

I hope my order isn't declined. My account page does say Processing, but I got a confirmation email for the order from very, so that's at least one more bit of communication than you got, so finger's crossed!

Yeah, even Amazon are now saying 31st March

I can understand that a part of this is to build demand for it but you would think Nintendo would want to get consoles into people's hands as soon as possible given their more recent not-so-great-selling consoles

Was this the same situation with the PS4 and XBox One? I cant remember at all!

Few just checked. My order says Placed, but then the tracker says "Processing with supplier". Thanks for giving me the heads up though.

Since then my order seems to have changed to 'Order Placed' and the money has come out of my credit limit. I missed a call from Very so I assume its now been confirmed.
I might stick with the order, I guess there is a possibility they will get it back in stock sooner than 28th April and 20% discount is pretty darn substantial!

Mine still says 31st of march.

I had an email about phoning Very but they phoned me yesterday morning to confirm my details and the rep asked if i knew about the order date and i said yes the 31st, she said to look out for the package about then because it requires a signature. So don't know if it's because i got in early or the rep just assumed the date was right. She then said she would put the order through and it went through a few minutes later.

Its for new credit accounts. I had a very account but upgraded to a credit account to get this deal. Was a bit weary given the bad news stories about very, but let's hope it goes through ok
#33
I got my unit from argos but have since seen this deal.
If I order this, provided it arrives within 30 days, could I return the new sealed unit from very back to argos to get my money back from them?
I don't think argos would price match or anything with it being a special offer would they?
Does argos check serial numbers or the consoles or anything? Thanks!

Has anyone received a Switch from Very?
#35
Mine was just sent. Pretty happy to be receiving it 3 weeks earlier than they said. It's kind of expected though, you get it as soon as they have stock, regardless of what the placeholder date is.
