£20 less than brand new for a refurb sorry that's not cheap enough in my book!

They could be returns due to the battery notification issue. OS reinstall seems to fix it so could just be that they've come back from Nintendo for that. Just be wary though, I sent mine for repair and they just replaced the battery which doesn't sole it. Could still he an issue on some of these if they have done the same.

Maybe this shortage for the Switch is more to do with hardware repair issues than actual demand? They should have learned their lessons from the Wii U launch. Afraid it's the early adopters being the guinea pigs.

Sorry but cold, should be more discount for taking refurb, £250 max imho. Still considering its only bern out 4 months id expect most of these to be like new but still not a good deal...

On what planet would you get a switch for £200 (even an un boxed used one without a warranty) right now?

They didn't claim you could? They're stating that's what they'd like to pay

It could be for that reason or it could be the lack of decent exclusive games or just simply because it's not a very good product.

Thats just what it would take for me to not vote cold, that would be a just ok price. I wouldn't buy one at any more than £200 as that is the value of the hardware, the other £80 is just the premium Nintendo like to slap on it for early adopters. Even some of the retailers thought it would be £200 (e.g. most notably Gameseek) strongly suggesting that is what the tech in the box is actually worth.

If the games were REALLY great I'd say maybe it's worth a little bit more for that but the best game on there is also available for the Wii U and was originally designed as a Wii U showcase game until they decided to hack out all the gamepad features and use it to launch the Switch....

I agree that there is a lack of decent games, but I do think it's a fantastic device. Even after the issue I had, which has now been resolved with a device swap. What it is missing, is the ability to backup your saves. I lost all my Zelda and Mario Kart progress. :( I never owned a Wii-U, so some of the re-releases are perfect for me. Pesonally, I'm hoping for Bayonetta 2 on the Switch...

Im not sure if your battery problem is the same but my switch prompts me that my switch is at 1% down from 100 after 1 hour play yet it runs on 1% for a further hour. And I bayonetta 1 and 2 have been recently teased from the developer on twitter

Forget about whether or not the system has enough games on it yet, the important fact is that for £20 more you can have a brand new model. When you're spending £260 surely an extra £20 is worth it for peace of mind?

Sure you can pay £20 and get a new one, if you can find any.

This post was more about actually being able to find one in stock at all.

That is the exact issue I had. Only way to fix it is Nintendo either reinstall the OS or replace it. If you haven't done so already, contact Nintendo support and get it fixed.
