£319.99 @ smyths toys
Just got this deal from smyths in-store. Worked out to be £40 for Zelda which is decent. Not sure if it's a in-store only. Both colours available Read More

Personally I'd prefer a physical copy of BOTW if only for the fact that the download is over 13Gb and the total storage inside the Switch is just 32Gb. Obviously you can extend this with an SD card but the price of a decent one may offset the saving you get by downloading BOTW!

Re-sell a Zelda game?!!? Those are words I never thought I'd see together in a sentence...

I literally walked into Smyths yesterday and paid this price for the console and a physical copy.

I wanted a physical copy of Zelda but they had none in stock unfortunately so he offered the digital version.

Is it not possible to play the game for a few months and then sell it?

Name ANY console which launched with a dozen or so 'must play' games...

Who said a dozen?

2 or 3 would do....

Even the most loyal Nintendo fan can't be pleased with the launch line up.

Especially when you look at the planned titles - it's the weakest launch I remember - certainly from N64 on anyway

Xbox 360 launch line-up was pretty bad IIRC, I think most people didn't buy one until Gears of War a year later.

Well, Zelda, Snipperclips and Shovel Knight. That's 3, right?

I'm currently enjoying playing through BotW, but he's right, I think 3 actual release games is the worst console release line-up in history. if (and there are people out there) you didn't like Zelda, could you really justify the price of the console with snipperclips?

Well, if you class April as summer, then "yes" and "yes". What's your point?

Well, I'll be getting it even though I played it on the WiiU. And I would imagine loads of Switch owners did not own the WiiU - so a new game for them. Lego City Undercover is also out next month. You've also got I am Setsuna - a very good old school turn based RPG, like early FF/DQ. Be hard to believe at the end of next month after you've got through that lot that there won't be some more games in the pipeline.

Having said that, all the above games are overpriced imo. But there are games avaliable nevertheless.

Zelda should keep me busy at least until Mario Kart comes out
