Delivery within 12 weeks

I have ordered from MW before and it is never 12 weeks. They say that to cover themselves and make them look efficient when it turns up 2 weeks later...

Marshall ward is run by the same company as littlewoods, kays, great universal etc. Id be careful using their codes

You've actually ordered items that state "delivery within 12 weeks" and they've turned up within 2?

:)

I ordered some Nike trainers for my son. Delivery time stated was '9 weeks' and they turned up just over a week later

I am actually HIGHLY tempted by this deal - don't know nothing about computer consoles, just know that this game looked good when I saw someone playing it.

PLEASE can someone just tell me 2 things:

1) Can I buy something like the DSTT card that I have for my DS so that I can download and play 'backup' games? - how much is this to set up?

2) What is the cheapest price for another controller?

I will give rep to whoever answers these for me - I really want a Wii!

Hi for the 1st question you have asked i am sure you cannot from the research i have done you have to actually get the console chipped which would then void your warrenty. There are many websites out there who do this for you do a search in google.

So the only way is getting a chip installed.

Thanx

Zed.

I ordered one when it said 24 hours delivery.
After order placement it still said that.

After 7 days it says back ordered in order status.

Look up Wii-clip with either a D2C or d2Pro chip presoldered on. These offer a solderless solution for playing those back-ups of games you already own but don't want to risk damaging!!

Technically your warranty would still be in tact as you can remove the clip as easily as attaching it and there are no security seals on the Wii that would reveal any internal tampering.

Thanks will look it up. If I got this, would I just have to download games onto a memory card and then slot it in the console to play them?

Found the WiiPlay with remote for £29.99 from shopto.net so may go for that if I get the console.

I really am in 2 minds - I REALLY want one, but then I REALLY wanted the DS but I haven't played for well over a month LOL! so I am worried that I might waste money.

....not to discourage you, but when you get bored with a game..you are looking at £20-£40 for a fortnights entertainment again arent you..I have a DS and it more than keeps me happy. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games; awesome fun!

That's what I am worried about - once a game gets too hard for me I get bored with it! I am into the fun games and the brain games.

I found this chip, would that be a good one for me to buy?

Can anyone recommend one that they have?

Thanks

I can recommend you one thing that worked for us.
Get a free trial (Make sure you get Combo 3 on package selection page) for LoveFilm for 3 months and enjoy as many games as you want.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/162771/lovefilm-3-months-free-trial-works-/

No chip needed
No downloads
Get bored then send game back

This method works great with DS games as well.

EDIT: I am with them already! I forgot that they do games - they certainly weren't doing DS games when I last looked!

Shall I do it? Shall I do it?

That one doesn't come with the chip soldered onto the clip. I've just ordered a couple presoldered from console-chips.co.uk so I will let you know how they go.

Please could you tell me which one you ordered? Is it updatable for newer games once they come out?

I ordered the D2C chip, currently it can't be updated but the makers are releasing an attachment to allow for updates. Saying that the D2C has had no problems playing Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash bros Brawl which have caused other chips to require updates.

Anyone recommend Wii chips ?
I've a mate whose offered to bring me games back from the US as he's over there every 4 weeks or so. I'm also not prepared to have Nintendo dictating where I can get games from...

If you google console chips or wizardmods you should get to it, the url is wizard mods but the company is called console-chips.co.uk.

It does play US games (the D2C that Ihave anyway does) but you need to be careful if the game includes a system update such as the Mario games (Kart, Galaxy, Brawl) if you apply a NTSC update on a PAL console you can do some damage.
