lol - fair enough but they cant give us everything can they? still a good deal with the games

might sound to be a dumb question, How do we play Mario kart with mutltiple players with one Wheel?
Do I need to get multiple wheels?

My vote's still undecided. I'm a 360 owner & considering either a Wii or a Kinect. The problem with these deals is that, to properly achieve the party atmosphere you need to buy an extra nunchuck, controller, motion plus charging machine yadda yadda yadda, whereas the Kinect "you're the controller!" so unless I loose an arm in an unfortunate fishing accident, I'm good.

I think I'm almost convincing myself, only the WII does seem to have the better games. Aaaarrgh!

You don't need a wheel to play Mario Kart - you just need a controller per person, and you hold the controller sideways and tilt it left and right to steer.
The steering wheel makes it loads easier though.
I got two from Toysrus for a tenner.

I do hate the way they split the accessories when they do packs.
I don't want a pack with loads of games. I want a pack with console, two controllers, two nunchucks and a Wii fit board.
Never seen one yet.

Go on....I'm timing you...

Indeed. You don't really need the wheel - you can tilt the remote from side to side as needed to "steer". The extra remotes and nunchucks and WiiMotionPlus gadgets is where the money is made! Would cost a lot to kit our four players!

But only 1 controller and 1 nunchuck.

Has anyone got a good place where they buy their remotes? I need an extra 3 (gulp!)

For those thinking the lack of extra remote will spoil xmas.
You can play Golf and Bowling multi-player with just the one remote shared.
The only 2 player game in Wii Sports that requires an extra chuck is boxing.
IMO Mario Kart is better with a gamepad, either from a Gamecube, or a Wii classic controller.

I think you will find that Tennis is easier to play with 2 controllers too - can you imagine the carnage trying to pass one controller between two people each shot?

Not that it makes that much difference but Sainsbury's deal is the old Wii pack with the old remote control- this one is the new remote plus control.

I presume you'll say so what's the difference? The old one needs an add on for motion plus which is included whereas the new remotes have motionplus built into them,

Also the old consoles that Sainsburys sell will nt have Donkjey Kong preloaded whereas the new packs that are currently out in black or red have it preinstalled.
