Any how I just saw this on the PC World website. Nintendo Wii (black) with the 2 wii sports games and a motion plus controller for £129. You can reserve and collect or order online (I think the standard 3-5 day delivery is free)

this is the normal black edition which comes with the motion plus addon not the new mario kart or wii fit edition which comes with the wiimote plus, so you will just get the motion plus addon regardless of home delivery or r&c. don't know why they still call it a limited edition black wii as it's not limited edition as it's been out for ages now.

this is the exact 'bundle' I got from sainsburys when they had their offer on the wii, got it for just under £75 due to mum's 15% staff discount plus £27.5 worth of nectar points. I also got mario kart(normal white wheel) and mario galaxy 2 as well, so total just over £125, have bought goldeneye collectors edition for £30(from amazon during the black friday deals) and lego indiana jones pre-owned for £22.99(today from game) for total of ~£178 so far.

so far the only ones that come with the wiimote plus are:

1) mario 25th anniversary red wii(new super mario game);
2)mario karat edition black wii(mario kart game and black steering wheel);
3)wii fit edition black wii(wii fit plus(I think, might be the normal one) and black wii fit board).

all three of those also come with wii sport(not wii sport resort) and the original donkey kong virtual console game(pre-installed).

I was thiking about waiting for the mario kart edition but it wouldn't have been for £75, so I decided to just get the normal black bundle and white wheel with the game tho I would have like the black wheel and built in motion plus.

Hot!

Anyone know if the Opera browser is a cost option, or downloadable for free on these?
Im basically looking for a low cost catchup tv box to get iplayer/ 4od and Sky if its an Xbox 360.

I missed the £100 Xbox 360 Elites that were going through Morrisons so am looking at alternate options.. maybe even a Xbox 360 4gb. If it is an Xbox 360, I plan to use TunerFree MCE plugin for catchup bbc and channel 4 , and of course Sky has its own app..

Any thoughts? Is Xbox 360 a better option?

The main teaser for me going with wii is the mario games!

Opera Browser is now free for the Wii.It used to cost but now its completely cost....er.....less.

This is almost as good a deal as buying it 2nd hand from game. Bought 2 from there this year for £80 each with Wi sports. Grabbed another 1 week ago and they've hiked it up to £90 with no wii sports. The cheek of it.

If you want a Wii then I'd grab one at this price.

Great console, loving it lots.

Do you use it for iplayer and 4od (via youtube channel) ? Whats the quality like?

I'd have said get an Xbox for catch up TV due to the limited video output options on the Wii compared to the Xbox

I will stand corrected if refers to the new controller with inbuilt motion plus but I thought that was only available in red?

This package doesn't include Wii Fit, if you want Wii Fit and the Balance board you'd need to pay around £70 I think it is (unless there's a good deal out there). Alternatively there's a new Wii Fit pack you can buy which has the black Wii, the new Wiimote with motion plus builtin, Wii Fit Plus and the black balance board for £180 or possibly less again depending on what deals there are.

did you read my post??????????

as mentioned in that the new black wii bundles, namely the mario kart and wii fit bundles come with the new wiimote also.

you can buy the new wiimote plus seperatley now as well, in both black and white to go with which ever of those two colour wii you have(not seen the red one so that you can get a spare or two if you have the red wii).
