I got my wii from amazon.de. Took around 4 days to arrive. Well worth it.

I ordered my 360 from amozon.de and it took 3 days. Best of all though kids is you get a 2 years warranty as standard.

But, I've found that there are lots of Wii in the country this week, in fact I have one reserved in Argos, Reading - so this is only a warm deal for me.

Oh, anyone need a Wii and live in Reading?

How to wire a plug, for people like me that would be unsure which way to put the blue and brown.

Yes, electrical goods in Germany come with a two year warranty rather than one. So, when my brand new 360 went pop after a week the nice lady on the phone said how lucky I was to have the 2 year warranty.

I used to live in Germany you see. Das ist gut, ja?

Send me a PM and I'll whiz over the information; if no-one yells for it in the office then it's yours.
#14
I’m thinking about getting one now as well.
Two years warranty sound good
#15
wii-consoles.co.uk had lots of stores with them in stock yesterday... some of the bundles are still showing as in stock now.

A 2 year warranty is a nice-to-have though... although I guess you have to ship it back to Germany at your expense...?

Why? If it went pop after a week I wouldn`t call that lucky, and anyway that would be covered under a 1y warranty as well

the better question is

how many nintendo products go wrong?
#21
Not alot, most are pretty solid or should I say all of them are solid.
#22

hey guys, I wonna buy one now but just want to know. Will the language be english as standard? What about manuals, please let me know as soon as you can as I want to buy one before they go out of stock

Thanks in advance

The machine is English from the box

The plug is euro 2 pin, a simple adapter will sort that
(Maplin do a clip over one which turns the plug into a normal 3 pin)

Obviously the box is in German but otherwise should be no prob

I've had my German one since Xmas eve and no issues

(interestingly, tried to get one for friend from Amazon Fr and they wouldnt accept the order, didnt pursue it, dont know why that happened)

System language is multi-language (English, German, French and so on). The manual is in multiple languages. The warranty is 2 years (as oposed to 1 year in the UK). All you need is a EU to UK adapter from the Pound Store and you're all set.
Hope this helps!
