The Wii console features a compact design that will make it a natural addition to any television setup. It can be displayed either vertically or horizontally.
The Wii console boasts 512 megabytes of internal flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports and built-in Wi-Fi capability. A bay for an SD memory card will let players expand the internal flash memory. Design was optimised with state-of-the-art processing technologies that minimise power consumption, keep the console compact and enable the "sleepless" WiiConnect24 mode.
The Wii console will have downloadable access to 20 years of fan-favourite titles originally released for Nintendo 64, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and even the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The Virtual Console also will feature a "best of" selection from Sega Mega Drive titles and games from the TurboGrafx console (a system jointly developed by NEC and Hudson). It also will be home to new games conceived by indie developers whose creativity is larger than their budgets.
Also includes the game Wii Sports:
A great sports night with Wii sports will include:
Tennis, grab the Wii remote like a racket and swing. The Wii remote will register forehands, backhands, volleys, lobs and much more. You can play against the compute or invite your friends for a game of doubles.
Baseball grip your Wii remote like a bat to swat fastballs out of the park, or fire a fastball at your friends, with the flick of your wrist.
Golf step up to the tee and grip your Wii remote like a golf club, swing naturally to smack the ball onto the green and then youll need your putting skills.
Bowling raise your Wii remote as you would a real bowling ball, and then it is all down to the speed of your swing and angle used.
Boxing use your nunchuck controller (not included) as one glove and the Wii remote as the other, and then its time to dodge, weave and punch your way to victory.
Due to high demand, we are currently only able to supply one Wii Console per customer.

#14
I got a wii before from woolworths online and collected at store, but my quidco was declined
#15
doesn't look that good a deal-there is no numchuck controller included, unlike other suppliers (eg amazon)
#16
The nunchuck controller is always included in the box.
#17
but it says it isn't included in the item description
#18
Your right it does say that, you may need to check with Woolworths as it normally comes as standard in the box.
#19
I bought mine from woolies and it came with the nunchuk
#20
i nearly bought it, got to checkout, then spotted those few words in brackets!

People -- stop buying wii's they are rubbish atm with only zelda thats any good -- of which you could get ona £20 gamecube
#22
Thanks for your input mate - seems to be completely the opposite of what everybody I know has said but opinions are like a***holes..... :)
#23
i think you'll find its the middle aged mums and dads who dont play video games who buy these over the *proper** consoles which they absolutely have no interest

Sigh... Why does a fanboy always jump on a deal and ruin it for everyone?
#25
I know this sounds really stupid but im new to this. What exactly is Quidco? Could someone explain please?
#26
I've got a 360 for my hardcore games, and a wii for fun. I dont know why people that have 360's, PS3's slate the Wii when it's not even the same sort of console. Its aimed at a different market all together.

The Wii is incredibly fun to play and is a concole that you can just turn on a play for 15 mins, whereas the 360 etc is one where I can sit down and play for hours.

Wii sports is fantastic, cant beat it for sheer playabilty and fun! Just my 2p!

dandoc - were here to discuss the deal - ie those who want to buy one where to get it. Please dont wear out my scroll wheel by making me have to scroll past your rubbish pointless posts.

go to an xbox forum and discuss how much you like like yours - dont spoil a thread for those who want to buy this product.

If you have a look at this link it explains about cashback/referral sites such as Quidco.
