I know this isn't the console on its own but the Nintendo Wii has once again proved to be the hottest selling product for the lead up to xmas and is on many kids xmas lists and this is why it's been so hard to get hold of these consoles.

The console comes bundled with 3 games (1 of them comes as standard with the console, which is Wii Sports) and also comes with the extremely rare WiiPlay (which is like Wiisports but also comes with an additional controller worth £30) and comes complete with easily one of the best games on the Wii in Zelda.
I think this is a slightly better bundle than yesterdays deal, which was the same but Zelda is a better replacement over the entertaining Mario Strikers.

For £249.99 (giving you a saving of £4.98) you'll receive it by tomorrow if you complete the order before 5:30pm today but I can't see Shopto having many of these instock, considering much larger stores keep running out of stock within an hour, so if you're looking for one, make the order asap and this is comfortably the best bundle I've seen so far in terms of games included.

Hope this helps make someones perfect xmas.

P.S I know that some people will inevitably buy this for profitable sale on Ebay but I do urge people not to do this, as I could do this myself rather than listing it on a forum for everyone to take advantage but I'm sharing it so kids will get the xmas present they want so much.

I've also seen orders being cancelled if you've ordered a Wii from Shopto before because Shopto want as many customers to benefit from the deal as possible, rather than traders taking advantage of people that are desperate to give this as a present to there loved ones.

The site also states multiple account will be cancelled, which I think is a good thing to stop people taking advantage of people being desperate for the console.

Surely this post virtually duplicates what has already been covered here?

You'll not actually get that much profit selling on eBay anyway. The stand-alone packs are going for about 230-240 and when you take away anything up to 27 for eBay & PayPal fees it wouldn't really be worth while.

The plug + The warranty? + The price ( european is cheaper ) + The principle ( If they ARE european it should be stated clearer! )

I sold my wii on ebay.

And bought drugs with the cash :P

Bought this bundle from ShopTo about 30 mins ago. Order confirmed.

Also, I disagree about the profiting from this on eBay.

Wii Play alone goes for an average of £50 (i've seen people pay up to £100, which is ridiculous) and a bundle on eBay (console + Zelda) goes for about £250.

So you could probably make £50 out of this quite easily.

Also, if you buy Mario Galaxy from Game (£29.99 with £5 off voucher + 11% off £29.99 via quidco = £26.69) and shove that into your bundle with Zelda, you could probably squeeze another £20 profit out of it.

So if you are really desperate for £50-70 this christmas, then it might be worth it...

I impulsively bought this and as soon as payment went through, i was likee oops shouldn't have bought that lol

That's what Nintendos marketing strategy has done to people, it's so hard to come by, people have been buying them as impulse buys as soon as they seem them instock anywhere, just to make sure they get one, while most people doesn't even know much about it. :giggle:

Don't worry though mate, there's a lot of excellent games coming out the coming year and there's a lot of good family games that your kids will love on the Wii.

Many experts and hardcore gamers like myself has recommended to buy 2 consoles this generation, 1 being either the 360/PS3 depending on preferences and to cover your hardcore gaming needs and the other is a Wii, so you don't miss out on Nintendos exclusive games and the fun factor.

To be honest, I've always been a big Nintendo fan and they're probably the best company to know how to bring in the entertainment factor and are one of the few companies that are willing to take risks on innovation, so you've made a good choice and whenever kids are involved, it's always the right choice to get a Wii. :)

I'm truly astonished that these are still so hard to come by, it's been over a year now since they were released.

Shortages of consoles on launch week are very much the norm (I remember queueing outside index for my nintendo 64 at 6AM hehe, no internet shopping in those days) but this usually passes within a few weeks.

I'm amazed that this seems to have caused such a stir.

Having said that, they are a heck of a lot of fun

All the best

I hope it really lives up to expectations, already have a 360 and not expecting wii to compete graphically, just looking forward to some fun family gaming.

For family fun, the Wii is comfortably the best, especially for people that are relatively new to gaming, so it's very easy for everyone to get involved. :)
