Thought I'd give you this heads up about this Wii bundle which starts on Saturday in case you were thinking of getting someone one of these for Xmas. They are dropping the price to £149, but using the voucher code ZQ925 it reduces it a further £10 to an awesome £139.

This product contains both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort along with the new Motion Plus controller; nunchuck and wii controller

Nintendo's Wii video game system (pronounced "we") is designed to attract people, regardless of their age or video game experience, to sit down and play together--whether they're in the same room or on different sides of the globe. The system's name reflects this simple idea. It's easily pronounced in a variety of languages, and the distinctive spelling suggests two players side by side. The two Wii features Nintendo thinks will create new levels of gaming community are built-in Wi-Fi access, supported by a new online gaming service, and Wii's intuitive, wireless, motion-sensitive game controller.

As with every new console release, much of the buzz surrounds the specs. The system boasts 512 MB of internal flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports, and a slot for SD memory expansion. Wii's technological heart -- a processing chip developed with IBM and code-named "Broadway" and a graphics chipset from ATI code-named "Hollywood" -- are said to deliver stunning performance. Instead of a tray, Wii uses a single, self-loading media bay that will play both 12-centimeter optical discs used for the new system, as well as Nintendo GameCube discs.
The real revolution in this system, though, is its controller, called the Wii Remote. Shaped like a TV remote, it's been designed to be easily used by beginners and pros alike. Sensors determine the Wii Remote's position is in 3-D space, which means that racing-game steering and a tennis swing, for example, are done through movements of your hand rather than by just your thumbs. What's more, a tiny speaker built into the Wii Remote promises some interactive surround sound experiences. The controller also has a force feedback "Rumble" feature and an expansion port for use with accessories, such as the Nunchuck, which adds an analog thumbstick and trigger buttons. An adapter that fits over the Wii's wee remote will be available for those who prefer the feel of a traditional controller. The Wii Remote communicates via the Bluetooth wireless standard. Up to four remotes can connect to Wii.

FREE standard delivery.
Just enter code XX607 at the main shop checkout when you spend £30 or more.

Lol , none the wiser ... is a Wii classed as a game ? .... or perhaps electrical ?

To be honest I'd expect 3% but it'd be a bonus if you got 8% unless anyone has ordered before and knows any different?

Its certainly a strange one toys are 8% quidco , games are 3% but there are lots of items that would be under the same category 'toys and games' so very confussing indeed.:?

£139?

excellent

it's a cracking price if I can get it, cheers

I wouldn't be surprised if Consoles are exempt. Marshall Ward (also part of Littlewoods) are selling Black Wii's at £149 from Midnight tonight plus 8% quidco. If your willing to risk using vouchers on this deal, you'd be just as well with Marshall Ward risk wise.
#12
where has the voucher code come from? i dont want to srart the debate rolling BUT if it wasnt issued then you will end up paying the £149 in the long run, dont get me wrong £149 is a good deal plus quidco ..... just something to consider xx
#13
Hmm, I don't need one really, my brother has one, but it's SO tempting!!
#14

#15
I've been holding out ordering one - very tempted with this...
#16

#17
Im going to cancel my account and see if they offer me a nice discount code to make me stay ?????
#18

I think the price is only going to go down ...
#21
Andy, looking on Quidcos' page, hasn't the free delivery code XX607 already expired on the 29th november?
#22
Just got one a 169 at argos with all this stuff...ah bum...
#23
Looks like next day delivery is £3.95 but you do get 8% cashback. so the tempting maths are;

£139 less 8% = £127.88 + £3.95 = £131.83 delivered

If deliver is £5.95 (I dont know) then its £133.83 delivered

At this price Ebay will be flooded with 2nd hand Wiis after Xmas .... ;(

Call me an old fart (then again, perhaps not).... but the last piece of techy stuffI had was a 48k ZX Spectrum (played JetPac for hours on end !!). Now I want to treat myself this yuletide to one of these modern playthings... the question is, what's best for a novice...

1 - Wii
2 - PS
3 - XBox

why did you have to start this debate in this thread, please delete and open a deal request for this question as now the thread will be full of 360 fanboys and ps3 lovers debating rather than the actual deal here

Am I right in thinking this only comes with 1 controller and nunchuck?

Anyone know any deals on getting a second black one, with motionplus, and nunchuck? Don't really like playing with myself...

This shows how a little rebranding can do wonders - if this was a Littlewoods deal it'd be cold in minutes. Just be careful using these codes - we all know Littlewoods' history with them.
#35
It's a Christmas gift ;-) if you want the code pm me and i see what i can do.

Can I just say that I used a Very code earlier this month and they had credited the £10.00 back to my account within 24 hours of taking the original £35.00 for the Dual Shock 3.
