My wife wants the Super Mario Bros Game and for the black Wii I cant seem to find a good bundle price. Even though Morrisons is doing a good deal on it but for the white one.

I might just have to buy this now and hope for the Mario Bros game to go down in price.

I'd guesstimate £130 minimum on Ebay.

Yes you will - bought a black one for £134.99 in Telford Sainsburys last weekend - they also had them in Perton and Wolves.

No worries, considering it myself really because the OH wants a black or red one. Our current one is one of the original D2A series which will read DVDRW and Dual Layer though and it's Wiikey modded because she wanted to play games from Japan on it and the Twilight hack didn't exist back then.
#29
Thanks OP, I've been wanting one for a while as my mate's got one that's softmodded and it's really cool. At this price as well you can't argue much :) Heat added

I think they were only £179.99 back in 2006, what's your point?

I have the same issue. The White Wii will not go as well as the black version. Only drawback is that takes a bit more time to find black accesories.

Really constructive post.

Possibly those looking for a good deal on a Wii, may not find it boring....myself included.

Good spot OP. H&R added. Ignore the Trolls.
#36
Prices haven't changed much on the DS since launch either. Nintendo's strategy is to always sell at a profit to themselves unlike Microsoft and Sony who are constantly battling against one another and making a loss on hardware sales.

You may see another RRP drop at some point in the future but they will never be all that significantly cheaper than they were when they first came out.

Thanks man.

I am just trying to do my bit by helping others. Good to see most of you appreciate that.

Voted Hot. Been putting off buying the wii, now I have no excuse!

I'm a bit confused, which is the best deal to go for the HMV one via the link or the instore one at Sainsbury as some people have mentioned?

I can get Nectar points from Sainsbury's.

Thanks

You can get Quidco from HMV.

You can get Quidco from HMV.

From Quidco page for HMV -

"Cashback will no longer apply to games console or digital hardware sales made through cashback sites."

I purchased via Quidco anyway - nothing tracked.
