Thanks for that...you talking softmodding? will it accept an external USB hard Drive?
#17
Yes you can use a Hard drive with a usb loader, the wii is great, there's a new homebrew version of new super mario bros coming out, the guy has apparently made the game near impossible to complete :-(
#18

We have one but the kids (5 and 2.5) haven't; ever played it. They will have plenty of time as they get older to be stuck on computers and gaming machines

Yeah, just soft-mod and run USB Loader GX - never had a problem running any ISO / CISO from my 2.5" portable USB drive :whistling:

spoilsport - let em have a go every so often as a treat ;-)

my daughter only plays 1 or 2 frames of bowling every week or two as a treat. Certainly not on it all of the time.

You've obviously never used Wiiflow.

Hot price for those only wanting the console. If I softmod a Wii is are there any homebrew programs which will stream XviD/MP3 via the Wi-Fi - I'm after something like XBMC but wireless of course :).

No real need as USB Loader GX works fine - don't need a pretty iTunes-esq front screen to flip through games.

USB Loader GX has all of the cover / disc art required for me

I have a 360 already but my mum is after a Wii for.... Wii Fit (you probably guessed it). Wireless media streaming or from a USB HDD would be useful for her.

I've heard of apps like Wii Media Center X but I think videos have to be in flash format or there are over the browser media sharing services like Orb
#33
I thought people just bought these to keep the fondue set company under the stairs .

I wouldn't recommend it to someone when Wiiflow is the way more attractive option. It's better looking, more user friendly, parental controls, etc.

Not sure why expired - still in stock
