I know this isn't the console on its own but the Nintendo Wii has once again proved to be the hottest selling product for the lead up to xmas and is on many kids xmas lists and this is why it's been so hard to get hold of these consoles.

The console comes bundled with 6 games (1 of them comes as standard with the console, which is Wii Sports) and also comes with Eledees which is supposed to be decent, Dragon Blade and also with some of the best games on the Wii including Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Party 8.

For £314.99 (giving you a saving of £65) you'll receive it by the next working if you complete the order before 5:30pm today but I can't see Shopto having many of these instock, considering much larger stores keep running out of stock within an hour, so if you're looking for one, make the order asap.

Hope this helps make someones perfect xmas.

P.S I know that some people will inevitably buy this for profitable sale on Ebay but I do urge people not to do this, as I could do this myself rather than listing it on a forum for everyone to take advantage but I'm sharing it so kids will get the xmas present they want so much.

I've also seen orders being cancelled if you've ordered a Wii from Shopto before because Shopto want as many customers to benefit from the deal as possible, rather than traders taking advantage of people that are desperate to give this as a present to there loved ones.

*The site also states multiple account will be cancelled, which I think is a good thing to stop people taking advantage of people being desperate for the console.

Just to confirm, this bundle includes:

Nintendo Wii console and all the standard accessories
Wii Sports (comes as standard with the console)
Super Paper Mario
Mario Party 8
Mario Strikers Charged
Eledees
Dragon Blade Wrath of Fire

Total price is £314.99 delivered by next working day courier and retails at £379.99, which is a good saving compared to all the other stores offering rubbish bundles at full RRP.

I hope that helps. :)

You should maybe make a tutorial for others who would like to make a lovely thread like this :P

Seriously tho, this isnt a bad deal, especially when the eBay c***s are trying to flog a Wii on its own for ~£300.

Retailers have come under fire from gamers for selling the Wii console only to those buyers willing to fork out extra for a games bundle.

Research carried out by MCV has found some retailers will only sell Wii consoles as part of a games bundle costing £400, which is more than double the cost of the standalone system.

The trade paper found Gamestation, Zavvi, HMV, Toys R Us and Woolworths stores refused to sell a standalone console, selling them only as part of games bundle, charging from £250 for a two-game pack at HMV to a £400 five-game bundle at Gamestation.

There has been outrage across online gaming forums, with one member stating: "I've just been out to buy a Nintendo Wii and found I couldn't buy just the console, but I was asked to buy a Wii with games I didn't even want. With the Wii shortage, retailers are ripping people off by forcing them to buy games with the console so they can get as much money out of the customer as possible."

This is exactly what GAME did a few years back with the 360, and it's why no-one in my family will ever use them again EVER.

Problem is if more people voted with their feet when a store tries to rip them off instead of just going back to them time and time again stores would get the message.

When a store says it's only gonna sell u a unit in a bundle what they're actually saying is "you sucker, we know you/your kids are desperate and we're gonna use that to fleece you" .

Shopto.net are fine for games, but as for consoles and if you have an issue under the DSR / Sales Act - then they start getting 'confused'.

Shop To R Rank, Avoid , They Take Ur Card Details And Refuse The Order, As For The Wii, Everyone I S Jumpin On The Bandwagon, Rockin Horse Now, But Wait Till After Xmas, They Wont Be Able To Give Them Away

Shopto sent me opened games in the past, the discs weren't english discs but the cases were. Trading standards sorted things tho!
#15
shopto sent me a wii delivered on time, and it was great!

Still seems to be in stock , not a bad deal although the games could be better I suppose (seems to be a trend just lately retailers bundling 3rd rate games with the console)
#17
yeh the games are not worth much!

How about Scan.co.uk offering a Wii "super bundle" for £293
You get a Wii, plus you have to pay an extra £114 for the bundled DVD player, a 512MB mp3 player, and a USB Skype phone which are probably worth £50 at the very most.:x
