I bought some online recently (through the Wii interface), and I'm sure it was £7.00 for 1000 points.

About £15 at retail for 2000 points in places like GAME etc which is about £7.50 per 1000, so a great price here - well spotted.

Heat and rep added.

.

Actually the new points cards are more expensive now, about £20 for 2000 points. I don't get it as it's still £7 for 1000 direct on the Wii.

well 51p more is hardly a bargain?! and you have to wait for it!

Only if buying one... if more than one the £2.50 cheaper per extra one.

If its £7 direct on Wii, how is this a good deal?

It is if you buy more than one... its not that hard to grasp is it?

Ouch, didn't know that - it's been a while since I bought any points. Thanks!

This deal isnt that good really as you can get 1000 points direct for 1p more, which is quicker
#17
The same guy earlier has already pointed out if you buy more than one it obviously works out a lot cheaper
eg buying 4

4 from wii store = £28

4 from here = 21.95

no, but in that case it should state £12 for 2000 not £7 for 1000 therefore COLD but its expired anyway. I would gladly vote HOT if stated correctly. Im all up for a good deal but no need to beat around the bush.

it is stated correctly, 1000 for just under £7, there at the top of the screen, as for £12 for 2000, you may aswell just say £30 for 6000, £60 for 1200 etc etc is a better deal

on a slightly different note...

I have wii points which i have bought with my nintendo stars. \after reedeming the stars for the points i was given a code. Now can this code only be used by me or can i sell or trade it to someone else.

Any help would be appreciated as i have enough stars for over 3500 wii points, but i dont know what to do with them.

Yeh no arguments from me on that, it's therefore COLD its not a deal at £7, its more hassle this way then to get it direct.

But if you want them for a dsi then this is cheap cos you'd have to pay about £10 for 1000 points anywhere else!!!
