Would it be fair to say that the Wii Fit is now in stock everywhere in the known universe?

Got mine for the kids on Friday and I can honestly say its FANTASTIC!! The kids think its brilliant fun (they are aged 11 and 18) but I think it really comes into its own for me!! I am a couch potato to say the least and this is far easier for me to pull the board from under the settee, bung the disc in the Wii and do the exercises that are at most 3 mins long! OK- I can hear you all screaming "get off your bum you lazy so and so and do some exercise! and I can also hear you screaming on about the Wii Fit being an expensive waste of money when I could just work out to an exercise dvd! ( I can hear all this cus I have very good ears!!! I am a Mom after all!!)
BUT as far as I can see, £65 is cheaper than a gym membership (I have been a member of a local gym for nearly 3 years and have probably only gone 7 times in total!) and if I have the facility to exercise in the house in short bursts that dont kill me, then I am more likely to do 30 mins a day (which I have been doing). Any exercise is better than none, and in my opinion the Wii Fit is well worth the money, and the wait for delivery.

You know what the BEST exercise is ???: http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/calories-sex.shtml (VERY detailed) it's free, of course I mean walking aroud in the fresh air :whistling:

I DO walk around PLENTY in the fresh air with my dog BUT the idea is to get ADDITIONAL exercise over and above what you usually do
All I am saying is that I am more inclined to get the Wii out and do my exercise in short bursts of a few mins at a time rather than undertaking a mammoth walk that will put me off future mammoth walks or doing an exercise dvd that kills me after 3 mins!! I am not saying that it is the way forward for everyone, or that I am going to loose loads of weight. I am in it for the fun of it with the additional benefit of getting a little more fit into the bargain. It can be done in all weathers and at any time of the day. My personal safety is not an issue in the house as it could be outdoors. For me personally it is a win win situation and I cant understand why people out there have to knock it! If you aint tried it dont knock it!! If you dont fancy it then dontread on, but to anyone out there thinking about getting a Wii Fit my HUMBLE opinion is to give it a go!

I have added heat because after mindless searching and finding no one with a wii fit and seeing your thread I texted my missus and told her Morrisons sell them. She went in and asked and was told that after telling everyone there was none left a member of staff who went in the store room for another game found three boxes on the cage.
So ask the staff to check the cages, we got one today and currently using it.
Oh this was our local store not yours so now none left as we got last one.

After having ago I think the Wii shoud have voice recognition, saves using the remote.

I'm happy to wait until it's everywhere and possibly cheaper. I saw some in store on release day and didn't feel inclined to spend £70 then so I guess it's just the hype that makes me want one. Nintendo are very good at this aren't they?
