Buy virtua fighter 5 from game, its a buy one get 1 free offer!

so £39.99, for 2 games, trade these 2 games at gamestation and you will get £60 credit, do this 3 times and you get £180!!!!

Only problem is when is wii going to be available?!

However you can use it for games, or the xbox 360 etc!
PS i personally have been to game, it works in store only

I think that you will find if you do that 3 times you will have £60.03 additional cash - so you would need to do it 9 times to get £180 ...

Utter nonsense - voted cold !

i assume he means buy 6 of the games for £120
trade in for £180

i guess you could buy 2 for £40 trade in for £60

use this credit to buy another 2
trade these in again for £60 so £80 now in credit

use the £80 to buy 4 more trade all in for £120

use the £120 to buy 6 more trade all in for £180

effectively turning £40 into £180

sadly id expect them to catch you out for abuse if you tried it

Can you use credit notes from Gamestation in Game now then?

That seems a little harsh, as this is clearly a loophole that can be used to bring down the cost of console ownership - This is exactly what some of us Hotdealers and Money savers are after, and it's even better when you get to play retailers at their own game - why bother making this cold though?
#11
Whoever spammed this to move it out of the forum - would you like to give a reason?
#12
hahaa i like the thinking behind it tho

I think people are mean voting this cold. The method is not for everyone as it requires effort & a risk that the games could drop in trade in value.

But for someone that really wants a Wii & hasn't got £180 to spend, then it is an option.

Like I said people are meanvoting it cold, as the OP has taken the time & trouble to tell you a possible way to buy a Wii for £120. If you don't like the method, just move on & look at another deal, I won't go for the deal, but I won't vote the deal cold.

Obviously when people start trading in these games, Gamestation will drop the trading in price, but if they are currently offering £60 for 2 games you might aswell take advantage. As it's fair play

Another use if you dont want or already have a wii, is thats its quite a busy month if your a 360 owner. Can be used for any other games.

So technically if you by 2x 2 for £40 virtua fighter 5 and then trade them in at gamestation you'd get £120 trade in credit or if you dont want to get caught out get credit notes etc or go to multiple gamestations, I know their two in birmingham town center, and then with you £120 credit you could easily buy 3 new releases so thats only £80 for three brand new games which is under £30 pound each.

seems long. alot of messing about
#16
Its risky, however, there was another post like this sometime ago, the amount of work that goes into it is amazing....factor in the cost of shoe leather;-)
However, even it's basic form you are making money from one dealer against another...and that has got to be worth at least a warm vote.
#17
look its not messy at all
you buy VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 FROM GAME, its a buy one get one free offer
you trade that game at gamestation and they give you a credit note

if you want to sell it to cex they give you £28, its an option and a loophole personally i think its a good way if not just use the games and get a hd player
#18
Anyone know where to get the orange box - halflife for cheap? CEX offer £30 for it...

nice one though op

So let me get this right:

You take a massive risk buying multiple copies of the same game and hoping Gamestation will take the lot, then hope on the off chance that they get some Wii's in as well.

:giggle:

you go to different ones, game has a return policy -28 days providing game is sealed
