change the supplier to gamestation.

also, it comes with wii sports as well.
#2
Please make sure you do not create new merchants for those already in the list. I've re-linked this to gamestation...
#3
ok sorry wasnt sure how to do it as its the first time ive posted a deal was just trying to help people out who have had trouble getting one.

Wiis are starting to come in stock in lots of places, so it is more important to look for the best deals, you could walk into pc world in Birmingham yesterday and pick one up!

Gamestation seem to do the best bundles.

Cheers, voted hot.

The 4 games you can choose from with the price of £229 are pretty rubbish to be fair.
#6
rubbish console i have to say
#7
The wii is also pretty rubbish to be fair!

Great if you always have a bunch of friends around for a blast on
gamecube classics - bomberman, mariokart etc....

crap for single player games... Red Steel, COD3 etc...

Havent used mine for weeks, feel really bad because i love Nintendo!

The XBOX 360 is more played at mine than the PS3 or WII.

I like the Wii just don't find to play it much, not because I think it's rubbish, it's a new way of playing video games.

Why can people not just vote hot or cold depending on their opinion of the deal. If you don't think it's a good deal say so but don't just say rubbish console. People will not take your opinion seriously if you just flame away.
#10
I voted hot just saying the games that come with it are crap yet price is good.
#11
Well i bought mine for £179.99 on launch date with wii sports.

So basically your paying £50 for 1 extra game?

Cold deal if you ask me.

I've got no problem with that. It just annoys me when you get a single minded comment that just states 'rubbish'. What kind of help is that to anyone?! If you don't like the deal then vote cold and state why you think it's 'rubbish'. People then get an idea of why you hold that opinion. I don't wanna argue with anyone but I think what I've said is fair.

Is it not 2 games as well as Wii Sports?
#14
Ahh, £25 a game then. Average deal!
#15
Notice how you can't select Zelda on the smallest bundle size? They know it's the best game on the Wii but want to shift some of the other **** onto you instead.

Since Gamestation has been bought out by GAYME I can't see this stopping seeing as GAYME's financial structure isn't to look at the takings over a week/month but per customer, hence they throw all kinds of crap into bundles.
#16
£50 extra for two games as you get Wii Sports as well = 3 games in total
#17
Wii sports was always a free game though.

So its 2 for £50.

Most Wii games can be picked up for aropund £20 - £25, so if you can get the standalone £179.99 deal (with wii sports) then this would be your best option.

The swines wont let you choose Zelda! probably the only great game on the wii! and the gamecube version is
basically the same anyway!

I'd disagree - our's is proving extremely popular and has been played a massive amount since Xmas day. However, as someone else already pointed out, opinions on the product aren't what's being sought - opinions on the deal are.
#19
Voted cold as the games you get with it are terrible.

That because most of them are bought in big bulk to resale on ebay at a profit. I owned a wii but after i completed zelda i sold it on ebay which made a profit. Wii is just a gimmick. It gets really boring without wow factor games releasing, same as all console. Wii only fun if you have someone to play with all the time. Until they release the next zelda game.

I agree, it's definitely a console for same-room multiplaying, whereas the 360/PS3 are better for online multiplaying.

Not sure about the whole ebay thing any more though... I got 3 on launch day, by accident really, as I had pre-ordered in the hope of getting one, and ended up with 3. I sold one to a friend at work for cost price, and the other one went on fleabay and went for double the price, which meant that the 3rd one I had was effetively free of charge. However, since xmas, the prices have dropped off massively... although there's still a small profit to make, it's less than pre-xmas.

ps - have you seen the list of titles Nintendo are releasing this year? Looks very good :)

Yeh the games in the bundle suck.
It's needs Rayman, Excite Truck and Monkey Balls for me
