Good refund policy they have in the event you have to return a FAULTY item:

Q:Does Focalprice.com pay the return shipping cost for defective products?"

A: No, Focalprice.com does not pay the return shipping cost for defective products. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, if you pay to send the item back to Focalprice.com, we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you without charge. Focalprice.com will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle

I was talking about any faulty goods ordered in general, the bizarre principle of 'not being responsible'. Frankly the overall reviews for that site are horrendous.

Again, not official Nintendo - "Important: this product is "WU" branded. It is not produced by Nintendo and does not bear any Nintendo markings"

erm DUH? its fake. . . if it has official nintendo branding then its fake, if not then its a generic clone - read some reviews about your 'bargain' and learn about dealextreme/focalprice.

a good price for an offical nintendo product. I just ordered a WiiPlay set, £25.72 after 8% quidco, slightly cheaper than Shopto.

All Wii controller from Dealextreme, Focalprice or any ebay sellers from HongKong/China are selling "fake" Wii controller. I call them fake becase they bear the Nintendo name on the controllers and all packages but they are not produced by Nintendo. They look like imported from Japan, but trust me, Japanese Yen is high and there aren't many Japanese remotes selling in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong market is dominated by Korean version instead and one offical set of controller (remote + nut) costs around USD$50.

If you bought it from Focal or Dealextreme then it isn't an official one. It may not be a bad controller (though 3rd party controllers often are). What is for certain is that the warranty will be far more difficult to claim under (probably international return postage if anything). The quality control at a factory producing imitation Wii controllers is likely to be lower too.

This is about the best price I have seen for the official nunchuck. Really need a good price for an official Wiimote though

I can't believe it's been dispatched today as well. Now we can play 2 player Wii Sports Boxing.
#22
Just want to say that, yes the controllers CURRENTLY sold by Dealextreme are not original Nintendo products, but that they do clearly say this.

And 8 months ago I did buy a pair of Japanese Nintendo branded controllers from DealExtreme which were the real thing.

I have no idea about focal price, but They seem to be selling the same nunchuk that DE are offering, but WITHOUT pointing out the brand.

I will keep buying from DE personally. The only gripe I have with them is slow delivery, and that only once from 10 orders over the past 2 years.

And thanks OP for the Zavvi post. I think I shall make a purchase.
