Does that include the sports pack/ and have you any idea how useful this is? I'm not sure how useful that part of the kit would be, or if its worth getting something else instead?

The sports pack is only useful if your gonna play sports games and even then its probably not worth £29.99 its advertised at as you get the steering wheel included with Mario Kart for example which you can get in Zavvi's £220 pack if they have it in stock, most people would find 2 new chart games better than 2 ancient £19.99 games....... Zavvi will also do the pack for £200 inc one game

the sports pack is an accessory, you do not need it - we've not got one and can do all the sports perfectly [well not perfect as we're quite rubbish anyway, but that's besides the point].

If anything, it just glamourises the sports games experience.

Anyway, say the wii is £180, 2 x £20 games = £220. So basically, you're getting the pack for free which can be found for about £10 - whereas if you go to Zavvi you can get any 2 games(apparently) for £220...

I got the Wii for £170 from http://www.shopto.net/page.php?page=dettagli&codart=WIICO00&n=Wii%20Console%20%2B%20Wii%20Sport&p=WII this week so that leaves £50 to spend on games based on this offer.

Yeah, cheap tacky useless bits of plastic to stick on your remote totally glamourises everything!

Just confirming the zavvi offer for £220. We took that offer the other day and got the console and two games. The offer was for any games and included the Wii play so we got that and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. Both games were priced instore at £40 and both are cheaper elsewhere but I think we still saved about £30.

Nah, on the current cheapest prices for all 3 you saved less than a tenner. Still a saving though, and convenience of buying them at the same place, well done
