Was in Sainsbury's(Winnersh branch) today looking for mario and luigi dream team, lady at another branch on Saturday told me that this particular branch had a couple of copies but I didn't see any and got told if it wasn't on the shelf they didn't have it.
While looking saw they had boxes out for two wii u bundles this and MK8 which was £249.99.
Didn't take a picture but a guy in another deal thread 2-3weeks back mentioned he'd seen it.

Last comment in that thread.

Could be local or could be national, usually Sainsbury's deals are national just dependent on the stores having stock, take for example the mario and luigi game the price is £8.99 nationally just the stock is limited as they've discontinued the game(well that what the lady told me when I asked on Saturday).

Great price for this, well worth getting now that it's sub £200 :) The Lego Undercover game is enjoyable too, it's like GTA but in a Lego world. Have some heat, I got the Wii-U when it first was released and really its been well worth it. Mario Kart 8 and Donkey Kong are also brill and the console has many good games now!

I suspect stocks will be limited. I got the last one from my local (Upton, Wirral) a couple of months back.

I was one of a number of people who bought mk8 from game for £30 the other week and now need a wii u to play it on, would like the new mario u/luigi u or wind waker bundle but those are more than this from what I've seen. Got until end of September to get a wii u if I want to take advantage of the free game.

Have you registered the club Nintendo code on a club Nintendo account though, as that part of the free game promotion needs to be done by the end of this month. I'm sure you have but just making sure mate.

Doubt you will get it much cheaper than this by September, you could risk holding off a bit longer and see. At this price it's well worth it, I don't regret buying my Wii-U when it was first released. The Nintendo games are brill and there are some other gems too that are not made by Nintendo :) The game pad is great for off TV play, and the miiverse features are also good. Mario Kart 8 is so addictive lol Poured God knows how many hours into getting gold in all cups and difficulty levels and then moved on to online!

This deal is better value, you can pick up Zombi U game really cheap now where as Lego Undercover is still holding its price somewhat.

Is this the premium bundle?

Just got mine from zavvi last friday for £26.98 , was on back order for 9 days and worried it wouldnt come on time to do the free game offer.
Played the wii u and mk8 for the first time on sunday.Does anyone know how to register the console to get the 1000 points?
Ive done mk8 and zombiu points with the scratchcards but nothing for the console.

Don't quote me on it but I seem to recall reading in another thread that the console gets registered when you connect your Nintendo club account to it? Don't currently have a wii u so can't test it.

You need to link your Club Nintendo account to your NNID when accessing the eShop -

Thanks, was partially right :p
Will be useful if/when I get a wii u.
Well I created(and linked to my club Nintendo account) a nnid on my 3ds a few months back when Nintendo started doing it on the 3ds, will I need to do anything or simply link the nnid to a wii u?

Had a bet on rickie fowler because your name kept sticking out on here ,he finished 2nd in the open.I would have been £30 down but finished £8.76 up overall. People seem to give you stick on here for some reason.

Glade I could help get you some money :p

It would appear people don't like being told a 'deal' is a repost/spam, also one person in particular seemed to take offence to me defending someone he was calling a troll thus has been on a crusade since before Xmas to get me banned. And unless I'm missing something it would seem people on here lack sarcasm.

I have recently done mine and basically you do what bernardsfingers said and then it will ask you to do the survey when you log into your club Nintendo account shortly after, I think it was in the same place where you do the surveys for downloaded games and apps.

The WiiU is a dead console. It needs to be half this price before I get hot and bothered.

Careful when gsquared is around, don't reply to the anti-Nintendo/wii u brigade or he'll brand you a Nintendo loving troll and make it his duty to get you banned ;)

Yeah, it's my fault you've been banned three times now. I made you post all of those trolling comments.

I actually have a Wii U, and have owned every Nintendo console since the SNES, so i'm hardly anti-Nintendo. Looks like you can add "constantly wrong" to your CV along with "internet troll", "hypocrite" and "coward". Unlucky troll, try harder next time.

Its nothing to do with being anti Nintendo. Why should anyone pick this product up for £199 when it will be fire sold for £99 to clear inventory and stock from the channels by most major retailers?. As Christmas approaches the price will only head one way. The Wii U has two or three amazing games and I wouldn't be surprised to see it dropping to £49.99 like the Dreamcast. My advice for prospective buyers is to hold fire and wait for further drops.

Mystic meg called, she wants her crystal ball back. She's sick and tired of all the people pinching it to make such 'predictions', also I'm sick and tired of her calling me all the time for this reason :p

So it is actually this price not just a misplaced sticker :p
I didn't actually ask if they were this price, I am tempted to get one and have ~£25 of nectar points but not sure I can currently justify one. Will however need to justify one before end of September or else the purchase of mk8 the other week would have been a waste if money :p
