Lovely controller, easily worth £30

Hot price. However, hate the position of the right thumb stick as I'm used to Xbox and dual shock controllers with the buttons to the right and slightly higher than the thumb stick.

Can anyone recommend a controller similar to the xbox/dual shock for the Wii U?

I have this controller and it's a really good alternative to the gamepad. Battery life is excellent too. Great price for an almost essential purchase.

Just bought mine from amazon this evening.

Get a Mayflash Adapter and you can use this on PC and PS3.

I've been waiting for this. Thank you! Mario Kart 8 will now be even more amazing!

Graphics may be last gen but the anti-aliasing seems to be a LOT better than PS3/XBOX360, which means hardly any jagged edges. Mario Kart 8, for example, looks very much like a Pixar movie.

firstly do graphics really make a game great? no.

However, the graphics on Wii u are amazing, Mario Kart 8 looks incredible and as good as anything on my xbone, including watchdogs etc.

Windwaker, pikmin 3, super mario u all look amazing in HD, run 1080P & have incredible art style.

The wiiu is an amazing console, and is getting far more use than xbone. The game pad is brilliant, I purchased the official extended battery which lasts 8 hours. Can now sit in bed plating MK8.awesome :)

Usually Nintendo use deferred anti-aliasing for their Wii U games, however MK8 has absolutely no AA. Jaggies everywhere on a larger screen, although it looks fine when down-sampled to the lower resolution of the Wii U Game-pad.

However, the game still looks amazing. They have some really nice fake global illumination or something going on, and the animation is impeccable! Who needs AA??

I used to own a 360 (sold the entire collection off to buy the Wii U) and to this date the 360 controller is the best I have used compared to the dualshock, specially when it came to playing bad company 2 and battlefield 3.

This controller feels right at home for me due to it being similar in design to the 360 controller. The right thumbstick for me is in the right place and the abxy buttons did feel a little out of place at first, but now its second nature for me. So this is slowly becoming favorite controller due to the built-in battery life.

Plus the battery life, what can I say, I bought the controller end of March, fully charged it and its only lost one bar on the charge-o-meter! Yes I haven't played too much with it, around 2-3 times every week since buying it, but you can supposedly get a months use out of it with some solid game time.

Agree on the 360 controller. Just ordered this version, looking forward to it!

The battery life is amazing in this controller, and is easy to replace to. Its actually a standard Nintendo 3ds battery inside, I hot swap the battery's to and throw so I'm never connected to a cable, and charge it via 3ds which I'd imagine is faster and the console doesn't need to be turned on.

Personally I say it's just a matter of getting used to it with the abxy buttons mainly and more replacing or charging batteries separately.

When you compare it to the dualshock where you have to completely change your thumb placement for the thumbsticks, being more horizontal, that's where I got trumped with fps games as my thumbs didn't feel naturally placed in correlation to the gameplay.

That's why I sold my PS3 for a 360 purely for the controller and then sold the 360 for a Wii U because I was getting bored of the same fps, third person type and footy games year in year out.
