Is this another solution to a "Problem" that doesn't exist?

I dunno... with We Ski (the new balance board game) I find that when using the nunchuck and wiimote as ski poles the cable snags every now and then. The only down side to this is yet another set of batteries, and totally different type too (AAA not AA as found in the wiimote).

is this an official nintendo accessory?? if not then my advice is to steer clear.

Looks pretty ugly and clunky to me - a nunchuck 'housing' (look at the size of it!) and an extra slab on the end of the remote - I'd rather have a bit of wire I think..........

Thanks for providing that link, I can vote that cold as well. :)

When is this ever necessary, its just more batteries to buy. You never need to move the controllers apart more than the wire length, plus if it had been useful nintendo would of implemented it.

Also remember the problem with flying wiimotes, if the nunchuk (which is now essentially a brick with this "wireless kit") is not attached to your wrist and you let go i can see a few more TVs with holes in coming along soon!

Great point. Nintendo has both the experience, knowlegde and the means to design some of the best controllers that we've seen over the years, why on earth would you want to take what they spent millions designing and make it different in anyway?? if they thought it was a useful feature then nintendo would of implemented it already...
Why change perfection?

It's all true, but that's the advantage of living here - we have a choice.

I'd never buy one, but if someone did, they are now aware of their choices.

As always, vote if it's a good price, not your opinion of the product.

The wire does get in the way with We Ski... and I can see it becoming a problem with future releases such as Samba de Amigo.
