Monster Hunter Generations 3DS £26.79 Nintendo EShop

4
£26.79 @ Nintendo
I know It's been around £25 for a physical copy and used copies are about £22. I don't think it's a bad price for the digital version though.

Voted Cold. This isn't much a deal. Plenty of places sell it cheaper.
Might have seen it on mynintendo a while ago as a 'just for you' offer. think it was the same discount from memory.

Anyway yeah its in the eshop and is cheap I guess if your looking to buy It digitally but I always go physical unless its very cheap like the atlus games on there. (look for the old post of mine)

Unnecessarily cold but thats hukd atm. Thanks Dinomartyr

I'ts under the standard sales tab on the 3ds, so I don't think so. When I checked on my PC I wasn't logged in and it showed the same price.
Think you need to be registered on mynintendo to get discount

Birmingham this morning - really good. Splatoon 2, MARIO Kart, Zelda all looking really good on Switch - perhaps less good on the big screens but still OK. Guessing the balls inside the controller, milking cows and quick draw .... good Nintendo stuff. I'm decided- buy
how you do at the balls, could feel rhem rattling but no way could I count.
Splattoon was amazing, not sure why cause similar to first. maybe it was the joypad and not gamepad.
and zelda, was gutted when got tap on shoulder was like but I only just started exploring
I think you had to work out how many times it vibrated... I was constantly one ball too short :(
Not sure about everyone else but we got given time slots for Zelda, so had to wait an hour to play what felt like 10 minutes... and half of that was a cut-scene thing so couldn't even play it!
I wouldn't say it was a disappointment but they could have limited he number or people (split over several more days/locations) and given people a really good go on the main games like Zelda and Mario.
I can't decide wether to spend £300 on a console after playing it for 10 minutes here and there
unlucky, we had time slot, walked up at around that time and went on next round 5 minute wsit maybe. played splatoon twice, mario kart twice and one go everything else. thought well organised with helpfull staff and not at all pushy or over top.

Yeah I don't have a bad word to say about the staff, they were excellent. X) They were enthusiastic and knowledgable and really really got stuck into it!

Have some heat. Good price this as the eBay scalpers will ramp the price up when the Switch is released

I just did an ebay search for "Wolf Link Amiibo" and filtered by completed listings. £20-£28 is the recent trend in the last couple of weeks. Must admit am tempted to buy a few and stick them in the loft for a few months, could certainly contribute towards my Nintendo Switch/Amiibo/Games expenditure this year.

More to the point, American isn't a language. In case you're unaware, Americans speak English with only a few differences, hence my original comment (_;)
Good bye.
Clicking on a poster's name because she uses American nonsensical abortions of the English language is 'scoping' is it? Thanks for treating me to another stupid expression I assume is erm yes American (_;)
By the way I got this Amiibo for €13 (so around a tenner at that time) the day it came out when I was still over in Austria last spring, do you think I should tout it when the Switch comes out then?

Not till we are assured we can keep the mainstream XB/PS illegals out! Build that wall!
Sony and Microsoft already have their respective (pay)walls in place to block online play unless one pays them extra and Nintendo will soon be joining them. :(

It's not a problem, Nintendo will make Mexico pay :{

Yeah only Poochy isn't in the Wii U version and this game has some levels made for him I think.
Poochy is in a few levels on wii u as a side kick to collect the odd yarn or flower....if it's almost the same game I won't bother with 3ds version...
Oh right. I must not have reached far enough to have seen him then. Didn't get round to playing much of it so that is a first I'm hearing that

nice! I would have missed this. I'm new to 3ds and shin megami. I just bought soul hackers, I hope that it will set me up well for the series. I know it is technically a spin-off set in the future but it could start me off on a prospective viewpoint.
welcome, a lot of them are set in a quasi future. definately try a devil survivor title If you can get one cheap,

Heat looks quite interesting and enticing at this price. I think Spasho might have liked this deal. Spasho if your watching, hope you get back on here soon, we miss you.
i think he normally prefers physical copies (how sad that i know other hukd members gaming preferences) but you never know. Why the ban? do you know ND?
I prefer digital copies too, I usually just go for physical because that is where the deals are, and for resale value, not to mention we have multiple 3DS XLs so, having a game tied to 1 console is not always ideal.
No idea why Spasho banned to be honest, but have a hunch he may have got into a spat with a XB/PS fanboy on a Switch deal thread. Maybe a nice friendly mod will confirm? :) Hope to see him back anyway, he does offer a lot to the HUKD Nintendo community.
ah, ok. I've been banned twice myself, both times for awesomeness.
Yes, like others (cough) he does bring some good deals to the hukd table (cough).

I still haven't got my banned badge (yet), probably came close once or twice though. The nonsense in the Switch deal threads might bring me a bit of bother yet! Spasho has posted one or two really good deals in his time. Is not just deals, I think thread/information contribution is sometimes underrated on here. Even just tidying up or querying the inaccurate information is helpful.

ARE YOU LISTENING NINTENDO!!?

No they are certainly not, but it made me feel just a teeny weeny bit better :) Some usually say Nintendo does not set the prices of the 3rd party games, but it is their Eshop and market place, but they have control over it all be it their own games or other makers game.

I bought this on my old 3ds xl didn't realise purchases are set to console. Good price to rebuy!

you can do a system transfer, get access to all your old games, that's what I did when I finally got a New 3DS XL after breaking the hinge on my original. Bit time consuming but I set it up, put it on the charger and let it work away.

Created an account but cannot see where to purchase after going to the store.
Get offered a double game for £19.99.
After you log in, go back to this page https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Wii-U-download-software/SteamWorld-Dig-911166.html and then you'll see the big red button that says "Proceed to purchase". On there, you'll pay either with a Debit/Credit Card or Activation Code (voucher).

Don't have that option, just says 'proceed to UK Store' .
Ahh, maybe I have to visit the page on my Wii U first which I haven't done since I got it.
I'll try that, thanks for your help :)

Wondering the same thing myself, with no F-Zero for Wii U, nor any chance of it at this stage, this is about as good as futuristic (or any) racing games get on Wii U.
Bought it just now, just debating whether the DLC adds enough to be worth the £4.40 extra?
The German physical edition was or is in sale for £12 which would make it a better deal as it comes complete with the DLC.
Without the DLC it's definitely cheaper. No contest.
Where is it available for £12 mate? I'd give it a go for that
It's gone now. It was on Amazon Germany.

I'd give it a go for that
malachi
Good price.
Tried to play online last week, couldn't find anyone. Think it has died :(

I picked it up at launch, and have gone back to it several times. From my experience it has always been a struggle to find someone online.

you can just pay the required amount by visa/debit cards now

I didn't know that, about time they sorted out that shenanigans of specific pre-credit amounts. Let hope they give the Eshop a much needed overhaul for the Switch coming out, am sure they will be looking at it, it needs a bit of attention and refocus.
Picked this up when was on sale for Halloween for the same price. Great price for the game.
Ideally needs the cpp or a 'new' system.
awesome game, shame they never released number 2 on the 3ds,the last boss almost drove me mad but i beat him in the end :D heat

Guys - best game here is RUNBOW

Excellent local multiplayer fun. Bought!
How do I buy things using the website? I'm logged in to My Nintendo but this website is a bit of a mess compared to PSN. I no longer see Fire Emblem for sale either.

Sign in here with your Nintendo Network ID and you can buy online and the games will download when your console is in standby.
Not checked Wii U out yet but got the following from the 3DS sale.

Virtues last reward
Pocket card jockey
Steamworld Heist
Fire emblem conquest
Fire emblem revelations

That cost me around £45 so happy with that lot :)

Does anyone know of any good discount buys on a Eshop card? Best I can see is CDKeys £23.99 for a £25 card.
Cherried
must be a pricing error surely? if this was a real nintendo eshop "sale" sonic 2's rrp would have to be 49.99 and sale price = 39.99 :p

SEGA sets the prices on these games. Not Nintendo :p

I just logged in and had zero points!!!!! I log in to Miiverse every week and get a message saying I get points for it... sod all there,
Hi, You still need to collect the points on the site. If you go back to the mission you've completed for example Sign in to the eshop every week, you still have to go back to the site and click the collect points tab under the mission. You can get a lot of points without too much hassle if you sign up to the newsletter etc.
God, never knew that one... thanks... what an overly-complex procedure. Typical Nintendo.

cool, the voucher is available until 8am on the 1st of jan so still plenty of time to get it.

How long until they get rid of the crappy MyNintendo thing. Hardly anyone bothering with it (not surprisingly).

Excellent new IP from Nintendo
Can't see many kids liking this as it looks so old school 80's but heat for us adults :)

If I'm new to both, which is the one to get?
I've only played the first one so far but they're puzzle games so don't think either is necessarily better. I assume the 2nd one just has slightly different mechanics, but probably better to start with the first one.

Wonderful games for those who haven't played them, an absolute bargain!

I pretty sure ive seen physical copies cheaper tbh but if you want digital thats as cheap as I seen it.
Worth noting that after chapter 6 you have to decide which side to ally with and unlocking any further campaigns costs extra (i.e. if you choose Birthright you will have to buy the add-ons for Conquest and Revelations). Good and lengthy game anyway, but I'd go for the physical copy personally.

Yes they have, but that's just the market as a whole, Sony and MS have been doing it too.
Mario avatar, honestly it's so much cheaper buying Xbone, PS4 and PC games.
Nintendo fleece you and I'd rather play games than they be collectors items.
No its not Hippy Flower avatar, loads of existing Nintendo console games can be got cheap. I am guessing from your comments you are focused on digital. The digital games which are mainly obtained from Nintendo direct, yes they are expensive for what they are.
Steam, PS4 and XO tend to have much better digital deals than Nintendo ever does.
Nintendo, once again showing people they don't know what a deal is.
