Bought 10. Trade in value £18 at HMV. Nice little earner if it pays off.

And I don't want to hear all the high and mighty crap about trying to make a quick buck.

Yeah you don't. Besides, I was the last one to get in so didn't take any copies off anyone. Anyway, I'm not holding out too much hope of it being honoured. Clearly a misprice.

And knowing zavvi ebay outlet... Most likely a mispricing and will be a 50/50 on whether people will be receiving cancellation emails...

Lmao
Sorry I just have to say, if you were the last one to get in, and you purchased 10, you clearly took 9 copies away from genuine buyers aha
#15
problem is when trading in at hmv, they usually only accept one of every game of someone, so people are best to just sell them to cex or amazon

Yeah that's also a good point. Even CEX get funny if you're trying to sell them more than 5 of the same item I believe...

If it were the last copies, then yeah I did. If they just took it down as they realised their mistake then I didn't.

Besides, at least I'm honest, I can't see royals needing 30 for 'friends and family' lol 8)

Hey hey I'm not judging! Like I said I probably would've done the same :p
But I see what you were trying to say now, and I believe that to be the case...
And lmao true, but yeah just be careful trading them in, I remember the whole Tesco ordeal where they threatened to ban people who took advantage and were trading in too many of the same game LOL

and ill give them bad feedback - so should everyone else - this should suspend Zavvi's account on ebay according to the new rules.....which have affected me......ebay totally suck....their new policies are a joke for sellers..

1022 rated 100%, 5 or near for all dashboard items, ebayer seller for 8 years and powerseller for 2 years (2004-2006).....all feedback on all pages full of praise but according to ebay ive received some 1 or 2 out of 5 ratings......where!!???

ebay is run by idiots.....they restricted my account for no reason whatsover and ive got wait till 20/6 - pathetic customer service - the best bit - in order to resolve this issue i have to sell 24 items and get perfect feedback for everything.....but as I said to the dims**ts how do i do that if youve restricted my bl**dy account - idiots!!

I run my own business and if i treated my customers like this id go bankrupt

apparently as a seller now, if you received THREE 2/5 for say postage delay (ridiculous, since when have i been responsible for Royal Mail!!) out of 400 sales (yes 400) your account will be restricted, do this twice and its suspended....hahahahahahaha!

If Zavvi dont send the items and they dont restricted Zavvi's account, i shall be sending a formal complaint to ebay and watchdog as Zavvi have flouted the rules whereas i havent! - i would also argue that this would be unfair business practice (if i was selling the same item at the same price ebay would come down heavier on me than Zavvi) and it may be illegal under company law - will have to check as auctions are always a bit different - at least it would be ethically wrong

I must have got the last 5. Although it went through as 10 so has charged £30 yet it's showing as 5 quantity in eBay. Karma? :p I'll see if they dispatch all 10 or just the 5

And Sam - I have plenty of places in town to take to get credit or cash tbh.

More than likely. Just strange that paypal still accepted the payment for 10. If they don't deliver all of them then Ill ask them to refund half of the money or open a dispute in paypal

yeh used to be good...now its run by a bunch of arrogant american stupid idiots.....honestly in 2003 you could list something in seconds, now its can take 30 mins......category 1, 2...200, description, EAN number.....wtf....im just a ruddy one man who wants to sell for fun not a flaming business......as a buyer people dont care fill in anything but dont realise the impact

people running ebay think theyve got all the time in the world

not only that they say i need to improve some areas but CANT provide me with the facts......honestly which school of business improvement did they go to...clearly happy customer, 100% honesty, 100% feedback isnt enough

its a bit like saying to Barcelona team, yes you won the champions league final 10-0 but you lost because your socks werent pull up 100% of the time, only 99.99%

Must admit, I gave up selling there years ago for this exact reason.
Plus the fact that there is ZERO protection for sellers, and fraudulent buyers win disputes despite overpowering evidence against them!
It really is pathetic there nowadays :(
And considering the little protection, if they only send 5, you'll have no problem with the dispute Mikey! Lol

I've fired off an email to them asking about it. See what they say. I've already received my positive feedback off them so I can just drag it out through paypal if they dig their heels in and leave them negative feedback.

I admit my english is bad. At least I click on the edit button and correct it the best I can to avoid people from misunderstanding me. I already lost a few brain cells from reading your terrible structured post (spite the fact that I sometime do that depending on the sitution). Now tell me kind sir, how come you know I have "a far too easy life".

@roadie - Nothing wrong with reselling, just people tries too hard to justify their reason.
