Great price for the best album ever recorded!!

Wishful thinking I would say , there is no such thing as the best album ever recorded because the best will always be bettered .

This is a good album , nothing more as they were an average band anyway who just happened to be in the right place at the right time .

Before you **** me I am a fan .
#6
Great album, but I personally think Bleach and In Utero were much better albums.
#7
Overrated album by an overrated band, but decent price. Saw them live many years ago and wasnt impressed at the time, media hype
#8
My fav album of theirs, it's up there with RHCP Californication amongst others. Hottt

good price. although smells like teen spirit is one of THE most overplayed songs, ever!
#10
This was the soundtrack to my teenage years. I agree with IWannaBeAdored that 'In Utero' was a better album.
#11
Sorry to go against the grain but i love this album and would certainly put it top of my list as essential listening, think i first bought it in 1994 and have always replaced lost copies etc,

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
OK Computer - Radiohead

Two more albums to match that awards :)
#13
Great price for an even better album! Nirvana we're the best! Agreed In Utero was better still tho.
#14
Absolute classic, well worth the £3

Changed merchant to 101CD as that's who the deal appears to be from, not BalhDVD. Also added an image. Please see the links in my signature for help on posting deals. Thanks.

Never stood the appeal..... an album which sold on the death of one man... otherwise average at best.... Musically dire and technically dull.

A 'trend' is a 'trend' I suppose. Youth culture is youth culture...

Voted hot tho cos its a good price for all you sheep out there :)

Haha, sheep..............

So your trying to say that all dead musicians should stop selling their music?? As for this album..... what about the other ones? There were earlier and later albums then Nevermind.

What Nirvana proved is that Kurt and the gang were well ahead of the musical trend at the time, that's why he still sells today, not because he is dead: because their music is still fashionable. And a big part of Nirvana selling is because the Foo Fighters are so big.

And obviously Kurt Cobain didn't make good music anyway, we only listen to it cause we have to................

Oooh look at me, I can make myself seem important if I claim one of the most beloved and critically acclaimed albums of all time is distinctly average. I'll look like I'm more clever than everyone else.

I mean I could just say "Not really my thing but good price" but nah, I feel compelled to tell everyone just how average I think this album is. Anyone who disagrees with me just isnt as smart as me.

Don't worry, there will be a Girls Aloud Deal posted soon, for the people who dont like this album......

Judging by their "Best Of" compilation I would have to agree. The Pixies were/are miles better, IMO. But a good price so voted hot.

To be fair, the best off got pretty bad reviews for its bad choices of songs, not to mention that every album has such a different vibe that the songs dont really gel when you put them together.

But hey, we cant all have good taste in music

Good price for a good band, I think they were overhyped but still good, but then every time I express an opinion I get flamed, just look at the abuse I got for saying that I didn't like Pearl Jam because they were a bit pedestrian. Apparently people can't have different musical tastes, ironically it's the people that think they're different by listening to "alternative" music that get all incensed about it, perhaps someone should explain irony to them.
Voted hot nonetheless.

I was never really into Nirvana.... Although i thought 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' was simply an awesome record.
Nevermind has to be one of the seminal albums of the early 90s.. And for under 3 quid it has to be a bargain.
Hot for that reason.

This album didn't sell well due to his death, it was a massive hit when he was alive, and sold millions before he died
