Cheapest I've seen this

This Wii Fit Balance Board, also called Nintendo Wii Fit Board, is an accessory developed exclusively for the Wii console that will have a far-reaching impact for all who use it. It's innovative, exciting and most of all fun and simple for all to use. It is a pressure sensitive, wireless balance board that goes on the floor - so someone can stand on it in front of the TV. It senses weight and shift in balance in any direction and therefore by standing on the Wii Balance Board during activities allows players to follow along to movements ensuring they have full control of the on-screen activities. This allows personal improvement goals to be set to effectively help you and your family to train and stay fit.

The Njoy Wii fit balance board, officially named Njoy G-Board Balance Board, is fully compatible with the Nintendo's balance board. It is a 3rd party balance board for Wii fit.

Features:

Compatible with Wii Fit
Bluetooth connection to the Wii Console
Powered by your AA Batteries
Weight Sensor measures up to 150kg
For use with games such as Wii Fit / Wii Fit Plus, Shaun White Snowboarding, My Fitness Coach

vinylandtrinkets
cold because they dont have stock, no idea when they going to get stock, instock on website, live auctions on ebay. when i phoned them a few weeks ago that is what they told me. personally i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.
Ordered a few things like wii games ,dvd's, books all instock on website wait for 2/3 weeks for them to arrive then have to phone them to be told stock issue and takes weeks for refunds onto cards. paypal sorted out my refund via ebay

Still says "Availability: In stock | Usually dispatched within 24 hours" on website  Odd - they normally change stock levels on Zavvi/Hut etc

The Hut own Zavvi, so chances are it'll be coming from the same warehouse, and from the same stock

Voted hot.

you only have to look at their feedback on ebay to see they have issues with stock for both sites

Just have done - it's instock there at £40 and they have recent feedback for this exact product (as recent as today) saying stuff like "5 Star Ebayer" and "great fun .....cheers" or "really prompt service thanks" or "great item A+++++++++++" etc
So, whatever problems they might have had in the past for this product on ebay vinylandtrinkets are clearly resolved - like I said, Zavvi/Hut when they have stock in it says "Availability: In stock | Usually dispatched within 24 hours" which is what the status of this item is; if they have to order stuff in it says "Availability: Usually dispatched within 3 days" etc
Anyway, I haven't posted this for ebay

Is this the normal Wii Fit board or is this a 3rd party thing? I am asking as the Nintendo one was going for over £60 just last week. Thanks.

Have you read the opening post?

The Njoy Wii fit balance board, officially named Njoy G-Board Balance Board, is fully compatible with the Nintendo's balance board. It is a 3rd party balance board for Wii fit.

Although, I don't understand how it can be compatible with a Nintendo balance board?

Is this comparable to the official Balance Board, or is it like the 3rd party Wiimotes (ie really crap)?

Huh? I swear I did read it but didn't see that. Guess it's time for new reading glasses
Thanks.

Have you been living under a rock for the past 2 years? Zavvi haven't existed as a physical shop since the end of 2008. Did you know Woolworths is no longer as well (except online)?

I bought a 3rd party wii-remote from dealextreme and its perfect apart from the speaker which isn't quite perfect - so that seems like an unqualified sweeping statement....

I am only going by reviews on places like Amazon and Play.com. It seems that for the most part, 3rd party Wii accessories are naff.

I think he's talking about the 3rd party remotes you can buy in shops in this country, which are crap. Nintendo have patents on the wiimote which means any 3rd party device has to find a workaround so they end up not working the same as the official ones.

However, being based in China, Dealextreme laugh in the face of patents so theirs work properly.
