Sports Direct seem to be having a mega sale of sorts, with loads of wetsuits at bargain prices.

They have loads of them, mens, womens, kids, shorties, long, blue, red, green!

Just be aware - these are a loose fit - due to Mike Ashley trying them on for size.

Big problem is I have no idea if it will fit. Ya really need to try these on as a baggy wetsuit isn't that good as is one that doesn't let ya move.

Nothing like a good pee in a wetsuit
#7
Any ideas on thickness?

Might come in handy for T in the Park this weekend.

the grey outlin on the back makes it look like you have skimpy underwear on top
#11
Do these work if you have incontinence?
#12
They're a good price but when does Sports Direct ever not have a Mega Sale on?

Also, when you have it on and everyone else has O'Neill, you will be like the poor relation and everyone will know where you got it from.

If that doesnt bother you, fill your boots.

Can't wait to try this on for the missus

These are no better than the cheap **** that supermarkets sell. It may be cheap but as we all know, that doesn't always = GOOD!......
#15
Are these available in branch?
#16
Hate the word from..... means anything above £13 so i would bairly vote hot on this.

Voted hot.

Should keep me warm in the paddling pool.

Great price for full length wetsuits - great for occasional summer holiday use!

they look pretty bad, no fear have never been a brilliant wetsuit maker. I'd imagine they would be 2-3mm thickness judging by the fact there shorties.

Good buy for occasional use though. if your looking for long term use go for an o'neil or gul.

Gutted this wasn't a few weeks ago - I'm working in Australia at the mo, this would have made an ideal stinger suit

Joking aside, the inverse is probably going to be true, I am 5' 10" and just over 12 stone and I had to buy an XXL wetsuit from Sports Direct.

As for the O'Neill devotees... I'm sure you are absolutely right about their quality. However I now expect you to run along to the Nissan Pixo thread, and tell everyone how good a Bugatti Veyron is, because that is a similar comparison. I personally do not want to buy an O'Neill wetsuit just for helping my kids do a bit of bodyboarding in the North Sea, and I expect that is the sort of thing most people will want one of these for.

You sound like you have a small willy and avoid wet suits anyway

This is a web exclusive price so not instore and they charge £4 del.

To be honest the last time I was in a surfing town in Cornwall the wetsuits were about £22 anyway for the same ish thing and atleast then someone helps make sure ya get a proper fit. In response to the comparisions with more expensive ones I think it depends what ya gonna use it for.

I would only want one for use body boarding or surfing like twice a year for a week maybe so this would be well worth the price. Couldn't justify a more expensive one.

I`m going to be my first scuba diving ever when I attend a PADI Open Water course in Egypt at the end of September and was thinking about getting one of these suits for myself.

I`m not bothered about it being top of the range O`Neill or whatever leading brand is the in thing as I will probably only use it at most once a year anyway so..

Anyone got any advice as to whether I should go for a long suit or short one.
Haven`t a clue myself, and don`t know what temperatures etc to expect either.

I`m 6 foot 2 tall and large rugby type buil..lol...if that helps and hate wearing a lot of clothes at best of time, so I`m thinking short suit but just wondering what advice a more experienced Scuba Diver would offer on this. ?

I'm not an experienced scuba diver just a guy with a wetsuit. And personally I thought I looked a bit of a gimp in a full wetsuit, so I went for a short one which in my view looks a lot less ridiculous and still does the job of keeping me warm in cold waters. Your mileage may vary!

Bought a shortie a couple of weeks ago from the new store in Cardiff. Paid £17 I think.
Very good value !!
