Been playing this now for the past three days.
(Yes, I know about the day one patch thanks. Starting over doesn't bother me)
It's a little strange getting into it. It's quite basic with how it introduces you to what you initially need to do.
I'm not a fan in the slightest of the Destiny type controls in the user menus. I hated them. (The little circle cursor you move around the screen to select things) But Destiny fans will feel more than at home with them.
You can see the positives and possibilities within the first few hours play, and for anyone who likes massive open worlds and exploitation, there will be something for you here.
My only concern is, after about 15 hours, it did start to get very 'samey' regardless of the planet. The constant depletion of equipment got way too repetitive, and happened far too quickly. However, with the new patch details, I'm hopeful that they have addressed this. In fact, it sounds like they have.
It's a good game right now pre patch. But its not hit my hype button. The patch notes however, could see that all change

Just because it's the cheapest doesn't mean it's a hot deal. this isn't tepidukdeals.

Actually, it means just that. If it's the cheapest deal, regardless on your thoughts on the game, it should be consider hot.

1p off something that is comparatively expensive is not a hot deal and this link shows the user base fully agrees with me.

Okay, I've now been playing for about 5 hours post 1.03 patch and I can now confirm, the hype is real! :)
This patch has altered the game in very noticeable ways. I'm now eager to keep playing.
Excellent work devs, excellent work!
