check out the nokia 1208, very very good basic easy to use phone for only a tenner. cant really go wrong with that price. also motorola w375 for only £20- in pink. normally retailing for much more on some other sites.

A point to note - Orange won't unlock a phone until you have had it activated for 3 months. They will then take up to and over a month to actually unlock it. Sometimes this isn't an issue because you can get cables/codes to unlock phones but with some phones it needs to be the provider who generates the code.

I got caught out on this one and wish I'd paid the extra £40 it cost to get it from my provider instead of Orange.

Hope this helps. Good day.

just go to any phone shop in a market and you can get most phones unlocked withing 5 minutes for only 5 pounds or so. the networks always con you.
get the phone delivered and on the same day you can unlock it from any phone shop on the same day if you please.

How do you know if its a no minimum top up phone, I can't see it state the fact anywhere.

Seems to be working - but who cares as they once told me the phone they sold me that was not working with the bluetooth with which they said it was compatible was a 'security feature'.

If you are moving to orange - get a phone that is tried and tested and not something new that wont work due to all its 'security features'.

Its also amazing the make their terms and conditions too complicated for most CS staff to understand - although strangely the errors only seem to work in their favour.

all the phones are showing as phone price only.
normally a minimum top value is automatically added on checkout. either £10, £20 and so on. this time it wont added so you save atleast £10 and atleast £20 with some phones.

Many recent Nokia's can only be unlocked by manufacturer. If a shop can do it, it costs a lot more than a fiver.
