Product Description
Don't get caught out at the airport with overweight baggage. Avoid Excess Baggage Charges! The No-More-Excess! Advanced Digital Luggage scale is the UK's newest consumer weapon in the battle against excess luggage weight surcharges. Most airlines have tight luggage weight allowances now and impose high fees for any checked-in bag that is over the limit. Budget airlines especially will not offer any flexibility even if you are just a few grams over the limits because this is one way they make their money! The smartly designed No-More-Excess advanced digital luggage scale weighs up to 40 kg and is robust enough to handle even the biggest items of luggage. Extremely accurate to 50g (most other luggage scales are only accurate to 100g at best), and weighing only 175grams, the scale is compact enough to take away on your trip without adding to your baggage weight worries. Smart travel cases are also available. Featuring a retractable handle and a stunning blue backlit LCD display, the No-More-Excess! advanced digital luggage scale has it all The No-More-Excess! advanced digital luggage scale is extremely easy to use: Simply attach the strong strap to the handle of your luggage, and lift the scales and bag off the floor. No-More-Excess! will automatically hold the weight of your item so you can set the luggage back down before you read the weight. Wave goodbye to Excess Luggage Charges. Say Hello to No-More-Excess!

many thanks dude - seems hotukdeals is just haters who wanna chill things rather than recomend a bargain, on top of summer holidays & would u rather trust your worn out scales, or a product with 4.5 out of 5 stars on amazon??? think of the excess baggage charge

PS - CAN YOU TAKE BATHROOM SCALES ON HOLIDAY WITH YOU

nope - but you can take this

You're being ever so protective of this! If people think it's worth some heat they'll vote accordingly no matter what you or anyone else says. The same applies in relation to negative (cold), votes.

It's only a 'deal' man don't get your knickers in a twist!

nah - if it got to 217c at higher price, think its just people see a negative & follow like sheep, a 217c at higher so at lower its a negative - erm!!! - here boy, here boy - round up them sheep

:-D You may well be right. :-D

PS I just deleted my previous post as on reflection it seemed a little harsh and I liked your humorous response.

I won't vote either way.

Got mine off ebay for about £4 (from Hong Kong)

So cold from me.

£4 plus postage I guess, and trust a seller from Hong Kong lol
#12
Waste of money in my humble opinion, but voting hot on price, and others do obviously find them valuable!!!

OP - to be honest, that is probably the most contribution LOUGHBORO GUY has ever made, as he usually just trawls the forum posting innuendos - so I wouldnt take it personally :)

NO it was £2.94 DELIVERED not £4 plus £2.94 as I assume you've read it as.

i.e. a saving of £6 odd.

Its a bit unfair to compare ebay purchases to trusted online merchants.

Of course, you may choose to buy from ebay - but to be fair, this site is for online merchant deals, NOT ebay deals.

I could probably go to my local market stall and pick one up cheap - which is effectively what you are doing on the bay.

In some ways agree but also good to give people an option. Considered the amazon one when it was last posted but couldnt justify spending an extra £6 for something that will get used rarely.

The amazon ones do look better build quality but happy with my cheapo that works just as good.

Actually this site is for both online and in store merchant deals:whistling:
Fair enough about ebay though so how about this

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18014

um thats the same as the ebay ones. You might as well buy from eBay as factoring the $ to £ conversion rate wont work out cheaper.
#18
Well I like your deal anyway Chris.

I agree it wasnt meant to be cheaper than your ebay one - but cheaper than one in OP and from a trusted online seller as MrShed wanted.

I voted this deal hot by the way as it looks a lot better quality but I'd probably get that one of ebay myself

Its not neccessarily that I WANTED - just that the site rules basically exclude ebay deals (other than certain powersellers), and as such its unfair to vote this cold on that basis.

Whilst I wouldnt personally buy one, if I was going to I would probably buy it from eBay - or more likely, DX.

Can't believe all the negative comments on this. It's a matter of opinion whether this is better or worse than the clock type which is cheaper, but even at just under £10 this could save a lot of money in excess baggage charges.

We were on a cruise a few weeks back and one of the things people most complained about at the end was the lack of anywhere to weigh suitcases. It's impossible to guess the weight and even if you think that you are o.k. it's difficult to tell whether one case is just under or not, especially if you are close to the limit. We were o.k., luckily, but several people we knew had large excess charges.

This is a really useful thing.
#23
I've never known an OP fight and scrap each and every comment on behalf of his deal. Not going down well though lol

The very idea that accurate scales are important when going on holiday is totally ridiculous. It doesn't matter what your scales say. What matters is what their scales say. Whip these out and you'll only irritate the little jobsworths more!

Not a very good idea - will take up 25% of your bagage allowance taking them on holiday :p

As Lakeside points out Chris, you seem somewhat confused as to 'who' is making comments on the grammar and/or spelling of others....
