Hi all,

This is my first deal post so go easy :)

Saw this today and thought is was a fab deal. You can sign up for the T-Mobile Combi 20 package for £20 per month on an 18 month contract. Then, you would receive £360 cashback in 5 stages through the contract (£72 paid in month 4, 8, 12, 15 and 18). This means you have 200 minutes and 200 text per month for nothing.

Fair enough the phone isn't special but you could always look at using your own handset.

You're right. Forget the phone, because with the upfront cashback this could be the contract deal of the century!! For example, 100 mins, 100 txts (T-Mobile Combi 15 with the Nokia 1208) = £3.61 per month over 18 months after cashback. That's remarkable.

My only concern is that they do actually pay up.

Don't forget £35 Topcashback as well!

Am I missing something, is there a catch?

From their website

We were founded in the year 2000 with the primary operational role to source and supply 2500 product lines including contract and pay as you go mobile phones to an ever growing base of dealers. Over the course of the next few years, Shebang evolved and opened a chain of 30 retail phone stores. Technology has always been at the centre of our ethos and we developed a retail software platform called Sellfone 3g, which gives Shebang's 400 + business partners a suite of retailing tools including auto replenishment and stock control. These tools have driven the mobile phone market and are regarded as market leading. We have our own accessory brand called Nexxus and sold in excess of 3,000,000 mobile phone related accessories in 2007 alone. The Nexxus brand can be found in many high street stores and we also have a landline telecommunication service for the business and consumer markets.

Also £40 quidco.

A bargain I'd say. Very few 100% cash back deals about at the moment. Best I got recently on a decent phone was 11 months half price on a 12 month contract with Samsung Jet.

Their website states "upfront cash back where we pay out at the front end of your contract, you just need to send us your first paid bill and we will send you your gift or upfront cash back, in fact we guarantee it."

They seem to do "Upfront" and normal redemption deals. I'd go for the upfront deals in case they cease trading!

Can anyone confirm that you DO get the full upfront cashback on 1st bill?

Sorry, didn't make it clear that they also have a list of "Upfront cashback" deals for that phone.

i have never heard of this company, so i personally wouldnt take up the deal, although i have had many cashback deals via cpw and never had a problem, i would look around for some reviews and go from there

Another one of those "companies" here today, gone tomorrow. It will go "bankrupt" as soon as there are enough orders for them to may a good profit, and you'll be stuck with the contract. Gor for e2save, and pay an effective £1.67 per month instead for the same stuff.
#13
e2save has £45 cashback from quidco. Therefore works out cheaper.

I had rather bad experience with e2save.They refused quidco twice without any legitimate reason.Allegedly, I was using other vouchers at the same (utter rubbish)

Just google beepy mobiles reviews and see how bad they are
