NOKIA 1209 Blue £13.00 at ASDA
Spotted this & thought it was a good deal for anyone just looking for a cheap phone.
It's nothing fancy but easy to use & does the job.

I'm sure your right, however can i just point out at the bottom of the advert you kindly put on here it says "Locked to the Asda Mobile Network".
People might want to ask before they buy to confirm the Asda webpage statement.

Certainly does and surely their phones are unlikely to be unlocked as they have to try to recover the subsidy they put on them, just like every other operator?
What made me smile was people buying this £13 phone as backup for their unreliable iPhones costing twenty times as much. Jeez. I'm so pleased I'm not so hooked on image and style that I have to buy two of everything - one to look good and the other to get the job done!
For me, a nice enough find.
The better deal IMO

Unsure how easy this may be to unlock tho, if it is indeed locked to a network!
If it works that's the main thing and if a cheap phone gets lost or stolen you just buy another one.
It's a bit like students who buy cheap bikes sos if they disappear they just get another one.
WHAT! I was thinking of getting an iphone - what's all this about (plus the other poster with the "incident") - it's starting to sound like a liability now. What's the "monthly silly beggar games?"

Couldn't agree more, but then I've reached the age where the main feature I need is buttons big enough to see them!
