  I think I may have to get one of these tomorrow as a temporary phone, as I had an incident yesterday involving my iPhone,
  can anyone confirm these work on the o2 network? :)

  ASDA mobiles are not unlocked, however they can take vodafone sims since ASDA uses vodafone's network. So this phone would probably work on ASDA and vodafone sim and not on any other network. Correct me if I am wrong though.

  ASDA mobiles are not unlocked, however they can take vodafone sims since ASDA uses vodafone's network. So this phone would probably work on ASDA and vodafone sim and not on any other network. Correct me if I am wrong though.

  People might want to ask before they buy to confirm the Asda webpage statement.

  What made me smile was people buying this £13 phone as backup for their unreliable iPhones costing twenty times as much. Jeez. I'm so pleased I'm not so hooked on image and style that I have to buy two of everything - one to look good and the other to get the job done!

  I've always thought that if ASDA are pushing their SIMS in the stores with the 8p per min phone calls they should have a cheap phone on offer to buy when you buy the ASDA SIM.
  
  If it works that's the main thing and if a cheap phone gets lost or stolen you just buy another one.
  
  It's a bit like students who buy cheap bikes sos if they disappear they just get another one.
