Ready to get flamed on this but I have had 5 of these cash back deals and always got my money back just follow the rules, cancel the addition's, send cash back on time, always send recorded and just to be sure chase 14days after if you don't hear from them.

If you get all the cash back + Quidco you will make £15 over the 18 months. Got to be cheaper than Pay as You go.

17 months redemption is specific to VODAFONE and the other networks offer something
different.

People love to vote these cold but don't say why.
#2
redemption = cold

I'm not voting either way but just to say I had a few e-2save cashback deals over a few years and all went well until the last one.

I did get my money in the end but it wasn't easy.

Despite it looking like a cracking deal (and I need one), I'm not too keen to get involved with e-2save again.

Hot from me.
#5
Never had any problems with cashback deals, hot from me
#6
as a previous poster has said i've always been paid out and probably had about 5 over the years, the last couple made it diffiuclt and meant lots of chasing around but i did get the money in the end. Very hard to resist !
#7
Got two delivered yesterday, cracking deal
#8
Nice find , have some heat n rep !
#9
What are e2save like for cashback?
I'm 10 months into a 12 month 1/2 price with Dialaphone, and they're really good with their cashback (so far, touch wood!)
#10
Another hot vote from me

Never had a problem with cash back from this company
#11
Can we assume or imagine that e2save would still be trading 18 or 24 months down the line???Given the reputation of the company for cashbacks i would think twice.
I know some may argue that its a CPW company...but bear in mind if e2save goes into losses cpw wont vouch to pay them off.
I have been a bit skeptical in the wake of Cdiscount going bankrupt...its parent company is one of the biggest traders in France but when the small company goes into losses they dont pork out money to save it rather they are more than happy to apply for bankruptcy....
viewers those want to buy are requested to exercise their discretion.

You make a valid point and I would second that, it is NOT GUARANTEED but I do take the view that I have had a number of these deals already and my Quico is tracking again not guaranteed so if this goes wrong the other deals have more than made up for it.

E2Save have been around years and are one of the top two redemption mobile retailers. So I would expect most of the others to go bust long before they do.

As for their cashback, I’ve had loads of contracts with them and never had a problem.

This is a hot deal!!! Even if you just want the contract and sell the phone.

I am very happy with them as they sent my phone order twice and didnt know about it so didnt bill me :-D

The title should make it clear that the 17 months redemption is specific to VODAFONE and the other networks offer something different.

Looks like an awesome deal....voted HOT !!! Hopefully your number can be ported from another provider into Vodafone
#17
Vodafone's website says that this tariff includes 500MB of internets per month, does anyone know if you'd get this from e2save as well? Would be ideal now that my O2 iPhone 3G contract is ending...

For what it's worth, it's HOT, if you don't like cashbacks don't buy it, but it's a hot deal.

The cashbacks were hard to claim but the regulator got at them and now they are easy, they can go wrong so it is best to take precautions..

Copy everything, send recorded delivery, send in as soon as possible, RING the company and get THEM to tell YOU when to claim, and what you need to send.

With most you can now send copies, internet bills etc and e2save (carphone warehouse) is one of the easiest, you don't even need a form and now they have an automated line telling you when your next claim is. If you send asap you still have 60 days to try again. If e2save lose the claim e2save will pay up if you have the tracking number to prove it was delivered.

Phones4U need a claim form.... that can go wrong.

I have successfully claimed 14 cashbacks through e2save, cpw and phones4u and currently have 4 running (for family, including this deal) , I have claimed back over £4000....... for most people it merely takes a bit of effort and forethought.

I know getting your money back is not definite but ..... But if you go through QUIDCO and get the £45 (mine has tracked) being in profit, getting a free contract and a free phone how can that not be HOT?

:santa:

Hi, I must be simple, how do you change the heat? Thanks

The little red up arrow next to the percentage, the blue down arrow cools the deal.

although i'm always up for a bargain, its just a little bit too much hassle for me. Ours was phones4u cashback. They don't send you the right cashback claim forms (you get sent form 1 of 3 when you should get the 2nd form), theres conflicting answers when you ask them about whether its "this month" or the "next month's" bill that should be sent in, and also whether its a photocopy or an original. Just requires quite a lot of calling and hassle.

Don't think this phone is that good for a cashback'd free line rental though? I got nokia 6300 last year.

not voting either way.. up to the individual! If you can be bothered you can save a fair bit of money I guess.

clicking the drop down box choosing Vodafone is problematic! site redirecting to homepage meaning they are changing or removing item from sale.

click the option for vodafone in the list below where it says best deal - should work

IS it locked to Vodafone and if so can it easily be unlocked?

can someone answer a few questions for a noob lol

1. when it says 17 month free does it mean it will give u cashback but still take money out of your account each month, or does it mean u literally dont pay anything till the 18th month?

2. does it include internet, and would it work on iphone? when it says 500 mb per month how is that calculated on iphone internet, i dont get it, is the 500mb for downloading?

3. if there is a profit in this deal, why doesnt everyone just make likeloads of contract

4 . how long do deals like this last for and how often do these pop up ( i wanna know how long i have to decide whether or not to get one
#28
Hot, not seen many of these good FREE deals for ages.

What c**p. Never had an issue with any redemption schemes. Just keep to the rules. if you are not an organised person, then don't do a redemption deal.

Simples!

You pay monthly and get the cash back later in the contract, usually after at least month 6. You normally have to send certain bills in to them.
banned#31
Any deals like this with a better phone albeit if you have to pay a bit more monthly or after quidco make less profit.
#32
wait, so every month i have to send my bill back to them for cashback

its not really free then is it, u still have to pay for postage..

btw 1 more thing... does the contract start when u sign up online or does it start when ur phone arrives and sim is set up?

if its the first one doesnt that mean u could potentially lose a week of calls?
#33
Hi,

I've gone for this deal. Whilst I don't expect to go over the inclusive time etc, The email I have just received from Voda states:

Outside your inclusive minutes:

18p to Voda mobiles and fixed lines
40p to ther networks
text messages 12p

They seem quite high for a contract phone, any thoughts?
#34
how is the company making suitable profit from these deals? thats what i ask myself.

is it from the interest or are they counting on forgetful customers?
#35
I have a cashback deal with O2 though Carphone Warehouse.

600 minutes and 500 texts free for 12 months - have to pay £35 pm and send a bill in every 4 months. Have been doing this for 3 years now with no problems

Seems a better deal to me than this one
#36
Every one think they will get money but I am sure they will get load of money by invalidating peoples claims

Just stay away they have loads of reasons to cancel your cash back claims

claim instalment term and condition

Instalment 1 - You will need to claim by sending the bill dated 6 calendar months from the month that you received your handset and you have 60 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (this bill must be no older than 60 days from when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)

i.e. If you purchased on the 1st of April 2008, you need to send in a bill that is dated within September 2008, your claim window is 60 days from the date of that bill.

Instalment 2 - You will need to claim by sending the bill dated 9 calendar months from the month that you received your handset and you have 60 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (this bill must be no older than 60 days from when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)

Instalment 3 - You will need to claim by sending the bill dated 12 calendar months from the month that you received your handset and you have 60 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (this bill must be no older than 60 days from when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)

Instalment 4 - You will need to claim by sending the bill dated 15 calendar months from the month that you received your handset and you have 60 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (this bill must be no older than 60 days from when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)

Instalment 5 - You will need to claim by sending the bill dated 18 calendar months from the month that you received your handset and you have 60 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (this bill must be no older than 60 days from when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)

You dont have to be sherlock holmes to work it out!
#39
I don't see how people can have such a problem with redeeming? I know with the phones4u group of companies at least, you get a 2 month period to claim. I usually get a response within 3 or 4 days from dialaphone, but if you don't, just send it in a few times over the 1st month and sort out any problems in the 2nd.

Not really relevent to this deal, but dialaphone are so reliable I send it in standard 2nd class.

Because they are too lazy to follow the T&Cs properly?

Work out the schedule dates then post them your bill within those dates, simple...
