Nokia 1661 only £12.95 as an Orange PAYG Upgrade from CPW

£12.95 @ Carphone Warehouse
I picked up a Nokia 1661 from CPW as an upgrade for my mum at the weekend. I was expecting to have to also buy a £10 top-up as well, but they waived that condition as she's already on Orange.

But I dnt understand how they waived the £10 topup condition.... Coz I had the same situation twice and the CPW people gave me topup voucher for £10.

If you already have an Orange PAYG account they waive having to buy the top up. However when I did this the other week they couldn't find my details on the system so had to purchase it, though Orange transferred the value to my existing number. Also most CPW supplied phones are now unlocked.

Thanks for the information... I will try it once.... Is there any time period that you need to be with Orange, say more than 3 months or so..... Coz I have been using Orange for 25 days now....
Will that do....!

They also do it with O2. Then you get back 10% of your topups for the last 2 years as credit on your new phone.
