Thank you for taking the time to participate on the forums. The quoted price has been amended as the listed deal price should be the price you have to actual pay the retailer to purchase the item before any retrospective discounts/cashbacks are applied, thanks again.

A candidate for the worst deal ever, here peeps ! oOX)

been posted in various versions before, you take risk on cashback and redemption, would personally not risk that on this particular model with that monthly cost

How can £1.94 a month for 600 mins + unlimited texts be "the worst deal ever"?

I get why some people think it isn't a good deal (either lazy or can't afford the £35 upfront) but to say it's the worst is pretty ridiculous.

In fact, if you go through topcashback and it tracks (the only risky portion of the deal imo) then they will be paying you for having it!

....providing e2save pay out, which is FAR from guaranteed. If they don't, you are so far up the proverbial creek it's not even funny.

i just wanna say is i ve just finished a cashback deal last february and ive not had no hitch ups with e2save..i always send my claims within the window of time they quote by recorded mail and they have always sent the cheque in the post to me like clockwork each time...never delayed not had to waste time chasing it up...so the deals is hot as (nr) freebie contracts arent as common as they use to be...

add the cost of recorded mail and the trip to post office at £x per month is ?, not forgetting the time
still think with this phone the deal is poor, a better phone then perhaps yes , no not lazy, can afford the £35 but would rather get a half decent phone

Obviously the phone is poor - but it fully works as a phone with a huge battery life so is a good spare for if you lose/break your one.

You'd rather get a better phone? Really? That's really shocking because if this deal came with a free iPhone 5 I would turn it down to get the Nokia 1800... Obviously everyone would rather get a better deal regardless of how good it is. This deal clearly isn't for the phone - it's for a free sim only contract.

You don't need to send it recorded delivery - 2nd class standard is fine. You get 60 days to send it in - if they haven't received it within a couple of weeks just send another one. Not wanting to do the deal because over the course of 18 months it requires you to print out 6 bills and post 6 letters in your local postbox (surely you go past one regularly?) as it is too much effort definitely IS being lazy.
