I got this phone for the same price(but had to get a 10 pound top up voucher) last week.

Its a good price with quidco cashback but as an actual phone I dont like it to such a degree I have to order a another different phone too
#2
these phones on ebay are around £19 and bidding goes to about £15

Nice little back up phone. Got this a few weeks ago through e2save, possible £7.50 cashback through TCB (although mine has not come through yet).

As its vodaphone I would instantly sign up for the 300 free texts offer (call 2345 on the handset). Use all the credit up after you've used up all the texts and never ever give those tax avoiding barstewards Vodaphone another penny of your money.

Its worth pointing out that these phones arrive unlocked for all networks.

It's been this price before, and has been posted before.

It can also be found on the other sites which Carphone Warehouse own (i.e. mobiles.co.uk and http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk)... except their own site, bizarrely!

Ordered - cheers.

I've had a similar one from e2save before (£10.99) and have received quidco although it did take a while to arrive.
#7
£6 cashback through quidco. Mine arrived today from mobiles.co.uk, quite impressed with the phone. Not locked to Vodafone. Bought it for back up and to take on my hols.

Good cheap phone but not as durable/solid as previous Nokia's but at this price it's still an amazingly cheap phone.
#9
so with the 2345 thing, you dial that, get 100 minutes and 300 texts then you still have your £10 credit?
#10
i bought same one couple weeks ago,but Quidco didn't go throught :(
#11
quidco went through for me.

They dont last very long but ill be damned if im going to pay £50 for a phone and drop it down a toilet after a weeks use.
#12
Very good cheap back up phone the battery last few days got one last year at this price hot for me

re the vodaphone free text the phone usually arrives with the credit on so not sure if you will be able to do so
•You need to opt in to TopUp and Get Text and Web first, then top up your mobile phone with at least £10 to get your first free allowance. Only by opting in before you top up will you get your free allowance applied
from their site,

gI have got one of these prefer the 1661 has a better feel to it although virtually the same inside, as with these deals if you recieve you cash back you have covered 75% of the cost, then selliing on the handset will bring you into profit, know this is vodaphone, but orange will add any credits from a (orange!) sim onto another account, not sure on other networks, some sites do limit you to 2 or 3 per 6 months which is a shame, but worth thinking about if you are wanting to keep the credit and not have to keep switching numbers, ( or you may wish too ! ) : D

Does anyone know how you receive the £10?
Is it already added to the sim card, or do they send out a £10 scratch card type top up?
#20
DOES IT COME UNLOCKED?

Well from mobiles.co.uk, the £10 credit gets automatically put onto the vodafone account up to 8 days after delivery, so they told me today when I rang them to find out

Beware, e2save most times declines cashbacks

Thanks! just ordered, topcashback offering £7.57, but not bothered if cash back goes through or not, £10 for a decent mobile phone is top deal.
#28
How can they decline cashback when its clearly stated?

i bought one of this by paying £10.01, i made a profit as i got £7.5 from TCB tracked and paid, and £9 from CEX recycle. i still have the £10 in my SIM, i don't know how to effectively use the £10 credit on the SIM

DOES IT COME UNLOCKED?

YES

[no need to 'shout'] ;)
#36
I notice that a lot of people on HUKD say brought instead of bought - is it some kind of in-joke?
#37
Hot deal, though. I know O2 and Orange will let you transfer the credit to another number. If Vodafone do the same, then you're quids in.
#38
Can you use the £10 voucher on other Vodafone PAYG SIM cards?

This phone does not come with the credit preloaded. I had to wait two days after installing the sim card.
