Some things to remember about this O2 Contract:

1) According to MobileShop.com Itemised billing is included in the contract.
2) O2 Offer 1 Month Rollover on both TXT's and Inclusive Minutes - Something few operators do.
3) VoiceMail retrieval is no longer free, but is included as part of your Inclusive Minutes.
4) Remember to Cancel your 3 Month Free Insurance unless you really require it, remember that if you claim within 12 Months you will be obligated to the entire 12 Month Insurance contract.
You can do this by telephone:

PS: if you want to cancel the insurance that comes with the phone, call 01252788300 and press the button for 'making a claim'. you will get to speak to an agent who will be able to cancel the contract for you. if you follow the instructions given by the recorded voice, you will be instructed to fax or send in a written letter, which is not what the terms of contract state: that you may cancel by phone.

Thanks X10 for the deal.

I'm tempted to go for this one but just a bit wary that O2 do not take out the 0870 number from the allowance like they have done with the 0774 numbers.

Do you think they can do this to the contract?

Thanks

Thanks for this X10

Tidied up the Front Page post a bit. :)

hotuk - I think I remember seeing something recently about them removing certain numbers from the Inclusive Minutes. If you were to take a contract out now then that would certainly be the case.

edi - Aww, I kinda liked my format, I thought it was tidier than just all in one line like it is now :(

If you can compromise on minutes then you can have the Nokia 6111 which comes with 250 o2 minutes - also from mobileshop

I briefly discussed this model phone with duckmagicuk2 in another of my posts and we both agreed that in terms of actual usability it's not very good.

But yes, a good point for those that want a flashy pink phone!

Thanks X10, so removing 0870 is in the pipeline? :(

Saves room on the front page. ;)

BBCode doesn't work on the front page either. :(

Hmm, well it's quite odd, this is what the Information from MobileShop.com says:

[COLOR=Blue]"Premium rate, international and roaming calls, 08xx calls and value added services are charged at separate rates, please check with Network Service Provider for details of charges for these types of calls."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Black]But with all the differing tariffs at the moment it might be worth checking whether 0870 is still part of the Inclusive Minutes. As far as I was aware my Inclusive Minutes allow me to call 0845 and 0870 numbers and I haven't been sent anything to tell me otherwise yet.
Having said all that, they can certainly remove that as an option I'm pretty certain and there's little we could do about it realistically.

I know that isn't the best news in the world, but at least it's some information that can help you make an informed decision.

I'm not bothered about the BB Code, just that I find the 'all on one line' method messy and annoying, which is why I always put a Carriage Return after each item in my deal.

Still, if that's the way you guys want it so be it, it's just messy in my opinion.

I guess it's just so there's room for other deals. I try to keep to paragraphs.

If you put a "carriage return" in the post it actually double spaces it like a new paragraph, so that doesn't look too good either... :(

I can completely understand that.

Ah, I didn't know that, does \n work for just one line, or is it something that needs to be changed in the BB Code?

It's something which could possibly be changed in the site coding...

Voicemail is free on for £35 and above tariffs, and hence voicemail is free for this O2-35, 400 mins tariff.

On orange at the moment, on the Panther 45 contract (400 or 500 x-network minutes and 100 texts, the minutes are showing up as 500 on the website right now), you can get either the Nokia 6230i or the Sony Ericsson K750i for FREE, on a 12 month FREE contract - both phones being ALOT better than the nokia at the start of this thread.

These contracts are from The Mobile Outlet and are via cashback, with you paying £45 a month (which is steep) but getting it all back via cashback.

Interesting raj75, looking at the MobileShop information it says VoiceMail is 20p but is included in your Inclusive minutes.
Other contracts clearly state that the Voice Mail is free, so I'm guessing that this being a new contract might not count for the £35 per month free Voicemail(?)

Yup, but The Mobile Outlet has yet to be as widely recognised as MobileShop with good feedback, which is what I was going for.

hmm.. anyone who is buying is worth checking this information. I am under impression, any Mobileshop-O2 contract will have the same TERMS of a Direct-O2 contract, except for long weekend offer. Direct-O2 definetely offers free voicemail on both new and old tariffs above £35.
