Ok,so not the most advanced phone nowadays but for the money still a good deal.

It seems as though Virgin are having a clear-out with this and other phones reduced greatly from their over-inflated normal prices.Others include......

Samsung E250 inc. £5 airtime for £29.98 delivered
Samsung J600 inc. £10 airtime for £38.98 delivered.

Always had good, reliable service from these guys and as an added incentive...if,like me,you are an existing customer and have built up a loyalty bonus, this can be used towards the purchase of any of these phones.Just bagged meself one of these for peanuts.

Hope this helps some of you.

Wideboy_no1.

** Not sure what's happened regarding Quidco for Virgin Mobile purchases...it used to be £8 but seems to have disappeared **

*** UPDATE... Just been in to town and this is available in store too if it helps anyone.
My local Zavvi had loads in so assume others will too as they are advertising this deal with a big window poster! ***

Hi....

If you go here.... http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/payAsYouGoPhones.do it explains the pricing in more detail.

It's actually only £19.99 for the phone and memory card but you have to buy £10 airtime and pay £3.99 delivery making £33.98 if i've got my maths right!

HTH.

Any refurbs i've had from them come in plain brown boxes i.e no retail box and they also don't guarantee that items that are supposed to be included like headphones, spare batteries and memory cards are going to be in there either.

I'd rather pay the little extra for the full retail package but as Sloaman says there are bargains to be had by phoning them.
#14
hahahah for sure this site is all about saving and dealing like RODNEY or DELLBOY i guess honestly i bought two nokias refurbs and both came boxed and look like new - not only that but they screwed up on postage and then gave me £15 credit so even better. are with any other networks as they all have their secret underground department
#15
theyre still there at this time of night?!
#16
yeah matchstick i understand but i have always got everything apart from memory cards and you tend to get max 1g which costs like £3 anyway so they seem to be great - three network also do this and offer loads of phones for £50 1 off fee if your a customer - then there is CEX.co.uk where you can make some money just for selling on to them -
#17
they are there 24hrs a day :)
#18

Well after ringing the nice lady in South Africa (who really was nice) I still opted for a new one from the OP, I was almost tempted by a 6300 for £45 but as this is going to be a spare phone I decided to save myself £25 (I too, have £10 on a reward)

Already added heat, but seeing as I've bought you now get rep too
#23
Yes have repped OP too...Needed a new phone and this is great..thanks again OP :)

usually on voucher but would love to know this as well. will se on thursday when people receive theirs.

they not on quidco any more because we all took advantage of an offer and virgin pulled from quidco as they ended up losing to much. the offer was on a w377 cant find the offer on here anymore or would post link.

They were on Topcashback at £8 for a while after they left quidco, but the're not on there now either, infact can't find them on any cashback site for either PAYG or contract :-(

HUKD members must have killed all the cashback on virgin mobile :whistling:

Still seems to work, looked at it earlier but couldn't decide whether I actually needed another phone ;-)

You still have to add the £3.99 postage though :?

Total is £26.48 :)

Sounds about right.
Just before christmas they had an offer where you got £20 free airtime with most phones..this come by way of vouchers. What i did was credit my 300+300 account with these vouchers and effectively had no phone bill since then.Needless to say thats what i'm going to do with this if it is indeed a voucher which i think it will be.

as of 12th may they no longer do free unlocks after you've spent £35 (unlocks now cost £15), so i'm not sure they'll unlock anything for free anymore.

shame, it was always a good service before.

btw, i posted the w377 deal that killed virgin mobile quidco... i feel really guilty about it now, especially as the phone was so pants...
