OK, I know mobiles tend to go cold but here goes,

Needed a new contract mobile as just cancelled "3" contract, only using 200mins/texts max a month so looked around, as the Vodaphone 100mins/500texts finished last month I found this the best available £10 call/text contract although "3" are currently doing a 500min/text 18 month contract for £13.50 but the phones are rubbish.

Virgin deal:
£10 a month for 18 months = £180 + £4.88 delivery - £30 Quidco (mine tracked & validated in 4hrs for payment next month) = £8.60 a month or 4.3p a text/call.

Nokia 5530 handset gets excellent reviews, http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/nokia-5530-xpressmusic-624950/review

When ordering the site allows you to pick a day a few weeks in advance which was handy as I didn't need mine until 18th Nov.

Today is the last day at this price, hope this helps someone.

This was posted yesterday and also pointed out that for existing customers its £8.50 a month minus quidco. Mine arrived this morning and is sitting onthe side waiting for my daughter to come home and show me how to use it lol

Sorry if its been posted before, did a search to start with and couldn't find anything, just trying to help.

How do you get it for £8.50?

You have to be a Virgin Media customer I think.

Tomorrow's offer looks like it is the Samsung Tocco Lite which is the offer from 2 weeks ago so this deal will probably come back again after today.

Was a media customer until they ripped me off over internet payments.

I would agree the search facility on here is sometimes dire but in this case searching for '5530' did actually work to find the deal

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/522703/nokia-5530-only-8-50-pm-18-months-f

It will give more details on getting it for £8.50

In my defence the post heading is for "Existing Media Customers", so not for everyone.

I went for this deal last night as I think it is a good deal for a low user, for some reason I got an email back instantly saying they could not take payment I phoned last night and again today speaking to what I presume is their Indian call center with very hard to understand staff and I knew once they put it through manually I would loose the £30 quidco cash back which made the deal for me personally, so I've canceled the order, I tried going through the internet way again but because I've already registered now and I'm not a new customer it asks for my mobile number which I don't have and I cant get no further, so I think somethings telling me the deal isn't for me.

Mine arrived today - new customer, so £10 a month. £30 Quidco tracked. No data included, but if you do go online at any time, it's only 30p for 24 hours (unlimited MB).

For £150 (oh OK - £154.88 inc del), I've got the phone I really wanted, worth £100+, and an 18-month contract with (just) enough minutes and texts, plus no cashback faffing. Status = happy.

EDIT - also appears to be unlocked. Bonus!

I had the same problem doing searches before posting...and ending up double posting

now I just use the advanced search and ensure your search string is in quotes " " seems to work fine then. Hope this helps

Just purchased. Have been looking for a light user contract so this fits the bill perfectly, especially when you consider the quality of the phone that's provided. Heat and rep added.

Looks like a pretty good deal to me! Signal strength not brill where I am though, but then most networks have their blackspots...
Shame it isn't a fixed fee internet access as it is almost a tenner extra if you use it daily... boo!

Just received my Quidco tracking receipt for £30.

Here's a joke, ordered this yesterday and they sent an email saying 'we need to confirm your address' @ almost 11pm last night. On the email it says the lines close at 10pm. We phoned, are currently actually talking about it to them atm, and well ... they want £40 for the phone now and are saying we should have called yesterday.

Bunch of jokers aren't they? If you look at their mobile home page it still has the offer up even though it finished yesterday. If you click through you don't get the offer but they should at least remove the ad from their site.
