it is mate, if you go into your local 3store they should also offer you freebies, like a bluetooth headset, or a sock, or credit £15 to your account ;)

21 months effectively, as you can upgrade with 3 100 days before the end of the contract. :w00t:

thx for pointing out, so not so hot for me.

Skype application on the 5800, I'm guessing its a 3 exclusive? Does anybody have it on a 5800 and if so is it configurable? Or is everybody using nimbuzz or IM+.

12 month contract and I would of snapped their arm off. 18 months and its not for me. 24 months and you might as well stick it in the freezer its so cold.

My misses got this phone when it first came out on a 12 month cashback deal for £17.50 a month.

So it's 'AT LEAST £480 for the term' then.

I see the dfeal. But 3 they are terrible. The customer service is as useful as banging your head against the wall when you got a headache. Poor customer service would put me off going for this deal.

customer service is perfectly fine, just go into your local 3 store and speak to them there, i always find that the staff are helpful and polite,
customer service cant always do something to help if the customer is beyond help if u know wat i mean ;-)

Can you cancel your contract instore? I had really bad problems trying to leave 3.

Out of all the networks I have has the best experience with O2 and would be reluctant to leave them now. The only network I haven't tried yet is Vodaphone.

Tied down for 2 Years, no thanks. OP should put 24 Months in title/description.

You can get this phone offline for around £180

I meant can the staff in-store cancel.... If they just let you use a phone presumably you get through to India as per normal and struggle to get your contract terminated as they babble through more sales speak. "I want to cancel" never seemed to be enough for them. Hopefully things have changed - but I won't be going back after getting through to UK based help with O2 and great support on broadband.
