I've been looking for this for a whilie and am thinking of getting this because with quidco it comes to £17/month for 12 months. Is this a good deal? i.e £210 altogether

Tap straight into your favourite tracks and videos with the Nokia 5800. One touch of the high definition screen and you're in entertainment heaven. And superfast internet access makes downloads a breeze.

It's hard to take your eyes (or fingers) off the pin-sharp touch screen. Rotate the phone for full widescreen fun. Tap out texts on the full QWERTY keyboard. Or simply let the 5800 recognise your handwriting. Genius.

Ready for entertainment? One touch of the Nokia 5800's media bar transports you to the thick of it - with powerful surround speakers and glorious widescreen images. It's practically Glastonbury in your pocket.

Oddly I ordered this phone yesterday, though with dialaphone.

http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/offer/24O225B156/

Same phone, £50 quidco, £200 automatic cashback (not redemption)

£25 a month for 24 months (longer contract I know) with 600mins a month and unlimited txts on O2.

For me the dialaphone is a much better deal, although it is longer contract.

cold. £18 a month on virgin with unlimted texts and 250 minutes. I think thats a better deal. I got 58 pound cashback, through topcashback when I did it.

Yep. I go connect to my home broadband with my mobile (i'ts free). When abroad I looked for 'unsecured' routers to connect to to check my emails. a bit naughty but it saved me looking for internet cafes and having to pay in all the countries I was travelling thru.

if you have good virgin coverage ..............

i know people don't like the idea of them but you get so much of a better deal with an 18 month contract. i'm on vodafone with this phone, 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. the offer was £35p/m for 18 months with 10 months half price and i got £90 quidco so that works out about £20 a month. i imagine this deal is still available from their website and if not it's not difficult to get something similar.

i'd risk not getting the quidco to not be on that network! that said i received my quidco payment fine.

I guess it depends on your experience, i've not had any problems with them yet but I bet that'll change at some point! T-mobile on the other hand, I could spend an indefinite amount of time relating the **** they pulled over the course of my contract, will avoid them at all costs.

Yes you can use the 5800 along with your home wireless broandband.

you just need to set the databearer to WLAN and enter the ssid{network name} & they key.
You can use this even if you dont have data package on your contract.

Seems a good deal, but Quidco involved, you just can't trust this company for cashback. I would check and see if any other cashback company has this deal, as I would not take the chance through Quidco, they have just the worst reputation for payments.

Tried Orange, T-Mobile & Virgin. Vodafone are now the only ones I'll use. Best reception coverage. UK Staff. Great customer service. (To be fair, Virgin was good customer service as long as you don't mind being spoken to as if you were 17... coverage pretty crap tho coz they use the T-mob network).
#27
Avoid this phone... terrible... falls to bits the back rubs off iritating to use! DON'T DO IT!
#28
What i did in july with Orange:
Signed up using quidco for a 12month contract with this phone.. £29/month.. 200 minutes 500 texts..
quidco gave back £150 and i sold the phone for £160 on Fleabay. overall cost = £39 :) got a good deal so for this reason i give your deal cold.

I appreciate it all depends on personal experience, I had 3 trouble free years with Vodafone having two contract phones with them, however all that changed this year when I encountered many broken promises and blatant lies.

Like I said seems a good deal and hope anybody who orders has a trouble free experience.

you can't say that because it works out cheaper than virgin (£18 for 18 months) especially if you don't use your phone that much its working out £210 altogether especially when the phone costs £160+
